Calling it “the worst update in years” is an understatement.

Can't wait for roblox to get severely sued or lose a major amount of ugc creators, cause the loss of money is the only way they'll start caring

The phrase "This is why we can't have nice things." exists as a reminder as to why the Roblox community is just not fun to experience.

So you're telling me, A guy DELIBERATELY uploaded a dinosaur with an inappropriate part for a head, got a slap on the wrist, and proceeded to upload an NSFW furry site logo without any punishment afterwards, Meanwhile, I ACCIDENTALLY discover a hidden NSFW model in a thing I found in Roblox Studio's Toolbox, delete it, then exited Studio not realizing it autosaved before I deleted it, and when I go on the next day my account gets *Deleted?* Are you *FUCKING KIDDING ME?*

audio update was way worse. this just requires better moderation, which can be done. audio update cant be fixed, and broke many older games.

Can't wait to see Roblox's dilemma when an external news source talks about the inappropriate stuff in the marketplace. there's a good chance they'll literally terminate Public UGC, if you forget the robux worth millions of dollars they'd have to refund. And, there's a tiny chance that roblox will actually develop competent moderation.

I'm just wondering how different this is compared to Free Models and 2D clothing. There is many rip offs, copies, and inappropriate things onto there if you bother to find them. Yeah, unlike models and 2D clothing, you can bring a 3D thing onto your character on any game which is why it's problematic but you ever realized we're in a time loop?

This is pandemonium. Unfettered and unrestrained chaos. If the platform as a whole dies, it dies, and the company has no one to blame but themselves. They knew the new system to moderate the uploads wasn't ready. THEY KNEW releasing this before then was a terrible mistake, and mentioned next to nothing about Public UGC. They tried to scrub this under the rug. It has it hasn't been a week yet, and look at what destruction has been wrought because of this. People who post degenerate abhorrences for items are getting slaps on the wrist. Psychos are tormenting the innocent to satiate their morbid thirst for dominance. Multiple billion dollar companies can sue Roblox for copyright infringement. The Furry Community becomes more blighted with the consistent acts of the most vile, making Ruben Sim's stance on the community seem less extreme by the day. People who made a living are practically being forced to find other avenues for their livelihood. ALL due to the company's negligence, ignorance, and greed. Public UGC isn't JUST a mistake. It's a reputational kiss of death on a similar level to the XBox 360 Red Ring of Death.

This public ugc update + price floor update is going to cause really bad inflation. Back accessories are now like 145 robux and people are selling shoulder items for 100+ robux...

After analyzing the situation, I understand why people miss the "Old Roblox."

The logo of that NSFW furry website, isnt exactly a furry website, but sort of a online store that you can buy EXTREMELY UNHOLY items that are DEFINITELY NOT for kids.

Roblox public UGC moderation in a nutshell: 1. If it blatantly breaks the ToS, it gets to pass no matter what. If it doesn’t, flip a coin. Heads means pass. Tails means delete the item and ban the account for however long the moderator wants.

It's a massive shame really about this whole situation. I'm in a Roblox UGC Group Discord who's owner is essentially wrapping up on what he wants to create before leaving the UGC Scene behind. He complained that people stole his products and rebranding it as their own and his item is at par with Foxtrot Arms stuff. It's a massive shame with what this update brings and I hope they roll back the updates.

Tbh I fully expect an audio update incident but worse at this point. I have a feeling they gonna delete all the public UGC, but they will not give refunds on the deleted items or something. If this happens then this platform is basically gone

I wouldn’t worry too much about Roblox taking down half the UGC items, cause they usually give back all the robux you spent when an item you own gets taken down. I’ve known this from a personal experience back when Roblox went on a UGC purge of all the items that were just literal guns.
