Publix Couponing Mini Rant - My Bad Experience 

Girl, don’t let them stop you from shopping at that Publix. It’s closer to your house and you shouldn’t have to go to another Publix. Call corporate and report both the cashier and manager!!

So sorry that happened to you! I was glad to hear that you won’t be going back to that particular Publix. My cashier stands behind me and marvels at how much I’ve saved! She loves to see my total savings. You did nothing wrong, hope your day gets better 😊

Totally call corporate and call her out, let them know how you where treated and that your not a criminal and are following thier policy corporate policy and publix promise. I totally did it and waved my flag. How dare they treat me that way, a combat disabled veteran just trying to save money on groceries during this tough time and felt the need to treat me like a criminal. I'm not shop lifting I'm saving money. I got a call from Corprate and a in person apology I go to the publix still and they know who I am now and I haven't had any issues since. Stand up for yourself you do not deserve to be treated that way, although I understand some people are bullies and can spot an introvert. I'm one but I'm also not one to back down when I see someone being a bully.

I would totally report her to the corporate office, she is singling you out, that is discrimination. I would definitely go back to that Publix, let her keep it up and after reporting her she might not be working there anymore

Wow. I would file a harassment complaint. I would’ve been a little embarrassed having to prove legitimacy in front of other customers. She probably shouldn’t be working in customer service. Sorry that happened to you!

That's definitely harassment. It has the feel of doing a traffic stop without probable cause. Personally, I wouldn't care if it's the "manager's rule." I'd be on the phone to corporate because I don't believe they would stand for treating a good customer like that. So sorry you went through this experience!

That's is terrible! I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I would definitely report that store but she's right I would speak to the manager first and if she is nasty too report everyone. Sounds like they are trying to make up their own rules. Not right!

Good idea to steer clear of that Publix. I always coupon in the evenings after work, so it's usually high school kids at self checkout who don't care and just put all my coupons through. lol Maybe shop at that time too?

Hi, I used to work for Publix. All you have to do is call the warehouse corporate and tell them about the young lady that was rude to you. I hope you got her name. She is not allowed to threaten you like that. She will be putting her place and you follow the policy , there is no reason for her to be rude to you. You need to report it to the corporate headquarters up in Lakeland Florida believe me the young lady will not do it again. Don’t let her scare you away from going to the store and you should tell the manager and put her in a place.

She is out of control. You followed the coupons policy etc. she does not have no right to do that to you.

Don't let her run u off.After all of that drama she still took the coupons.so what was the point.Publix cashiers can act like they r better than the customer sometimes.then i can go in another time and the same cashier is friendly.i would tell corporate for sure and keep shopping there

I hate that you have this problem. I'd keep going & make it a point to go to her lane specifically when I coupon. I w'd kill her with kindness each & every time I go. There are some amazing deals that don't require anything except digitals. I would make her see my great deals & steals every time! I'm lucky in that I have 5 Publix stores (soon to be 6). I just spread the love all around. I start at the only one with a SCO & then work my way into a square around town. It's usually just 3 I frequent regularly unless I need to purchase a lot of an item. I tend to look for the cashiers that I've had before who don't care either way about coupons or the male cashiers. They never care! Not because I'm doing anything fraudulent (I'm not!), but because the last thing a couponer wants is to draw attention to yourself. Another thing you might want to think about is scanning the registers when you go & only using the Tena when that cashier is not there. In addition, I may be tempted to casually put my phone on voice record. In case I need it later to call corporate. 😉

It happened to me with the tena pads. They didn’t validate my coupons because it didn’t say the size. 😞

Honestly I used to love Publix but I dread every time I go there now. At one of the Publix stores near me I was accused of copying coupons at the register when I only had 4 of the same coupons. They made a huge scene, embarrassed me and never apologized. I went all the way up the the regional manager but all he offered me was an apology which was better than nothing but I still LOATHE going into that store. They always give me problems if I have more than a few printed coupons.

I had two cashiers stop me before i left at Kroger and made me pull out my receipt over some nature valley bars. It looked to other customers like i had stolen something. After they left me i found a manger and complained but i doubt anything was said. I went home and bawled and almost gave up couponing. I know how you feel. Sorry sweetie you didn't deserve that.

Dang girl I feel for ya....I had an employee all up on my buttocks one time like that ....I told her to just keep it..I didn't go back for months ...Found out she wasn't no longer working there so now I'm back in the saddle.....✌️💯👈👍

This is disgusting! Publix would definitely be ashamed of how she behaved, calling you out and embarrassing you during your shopping trip accusing you of coupon fraud is disgusting! Definitely get her name and report her. Publix is one of the last few stores that actually welcome couponers. Sorry you experienced that.
