Had to be actors. Usually I agree with Think's approach but if any of those men had heart conditions, they could have killed someone. Most of them probably didn't drive to the pub if it's in North London anyway: they'll just get the tube.

If I was in a bar and this happened to me, I'd be surprised for several reasons: 1) The whole "body suddenly crashes out of a mirror" thing is frightening, let's be honest here. 2) I don't drink alcohol. 3) I don't drive. 4) I'm not an actor (especially not one who'd need the benefit of a jump cut to act "realistically").

You can't throw a dummy from the inside of a mirror, people.

I get their attempt to be brutal and shocking to make their point, but this could have serious repercussions on someone who's suffering from a heart condition. "Oh, yeah! We'll save you from being in a car accident, driving drunk, by giving you a heart attack!"

This may be the only youtube ad I clicked on to watch again. Good campaign.

Everyone always criticises Think! ads but history shows that they've worked; the number of people killed through road traffic accidents has decreased significantly in the fifty years since the campaign started. If scaring the shit out of people is the price of saving people's lives then so be it.

For everyone talking about suing, these are obviously actors. There's literally no way they'd do this to random people without knowing whether or not they had some sort of heart (or even mental) condition.

I didnt catch on,I mean the spot couldve been about alot of things,until you see the words,had the spot been over after the last mirror breaks would we have got it.when it comes the driving while drunk,things need to be blatant for the lack of a better word at the moment.

I effing got scared on that really..Once I get scared.my heart started to pump faster and I lowered the volume down.

Pretty sure the people who reacted to this were actors, not just random people. I think the creators of this ad would have though of that before trying it.

The thing is about drink driving is, when you make the decision to either drink drive or not, you're usually drunk and any idea you have when you're pissed is a good one. That shit woulda give me a heart attack.

I don't get why people are saying this wouldn't work as an anti-drink driving campaign. Obviously someone would tell them when they left the bathroom what the point of it was, and it really brings home the message of how you would feel if this actually happened. You are drunk and relaxed, you don't realise anything is wrong until bam! Someone is through your wind screen and it's a horrible sight and feeling. The only problem is, this must be incredibly expensive to set up.

Have you people not realized that this is set up yet? IE People knew it was going to happen, actors were paid, etc. It's a commercial for drinking and driving by ThinkUK. They do a lot of pretty gruesome ads to get their point across. It's made to get the viewers thinking and interested. In other words, the loud sound effects are added in post production to make the viewer jump. No heart attacks, etc.
