I visit Beverley in East Yorkshire for the first time. Beverley is famous for it's minister. Beverley Minster is one of the finest Gothic churches in England. It was originally founded during the 8th century. The present Minster was built in the period 1220-1425. The stone used throughout is limestone, mostly from Tadcaster near York. The white telephone boxes are unique to Hull/ Beverley as they had Kingston communications not BT.

You like Beverley? Should have been here before the mid 80s , it truly was a great place back then. Small quiet market town. Now ruined by far too many people and far too many cars. The start of the changes came with us being called "Humberside" and the end came when the Cattle market was ripped up and a Tesco's plonked on it. But hey that's progress. Good video though . Keep up the good work.

⁠Hornsea has changed a little, some of the Amusments have gone and the Lesuire Center has gotten huge now, but generally it's the same as it always was. Probably the biggest change was losing the " Hornsea Pottery" . Spent lots of sunny Sundays in the 70s there. Now it's just boring shops . The mere was very popular back in the day too.
