Your chocolate cake looks delicious I tried to hack the other day on one of my chocolate cakes and instead of using milk I used chocolate milk I used butter instead of oil And kept the eggs the same As the same amount on the Box It came out very delicious and very moist and rich Just thought I would share that little tip

I made it for our Thanksgiving Dinner "2023" and it was a HIT!!! I used 2 boxes of Devils Food Cake Mix, doubled the ingredients on ea. box. I used 2 foil pans, with the designs in the pan, beautiful by the way, 😊 2 cups of pet milk and 2 cups of Egg nog, 10 eggs, 1 cup of chocolate syrup & baking cocoa, I didn't measure it! They ranted and raved over that Cake!!! 😋😋😋 Thank you, I was so proud! 🙏🏽💜

How can I get the recipe for seven minute icing that used to be popular in the Seventies,l know it includes who’re karo, sugar, vanilla, and sugar,it is cooked and beaten together for seven minutes I vaguely remember that cream of tartar was used,and put on the cake,and topped with grated coconut. Seven Minute Frosting 2 egg whites, unbeaten 1½ cup sugar Dash salt ⅓ cup water 2 teaspoons light corn syrup (Karo or store brand) 2 teaspoons vanilla Combine all ingredients in top of double boiler, stir until mixed well. Place over boiling water, making sure the water is not touching the top of double boiler. Beat constantly with portable electric mixer at high speed for 7 minutes, or until frosting stands at stiff peaks, scraping frosting from sides and bottom while mixing. Remove from heat, beat on low speed or by hand until frosting is the right consistency, being careful not to over beat. This makes enough frosting to fill and frost a 9-inch two-layer cake. NOTE: Make SURE the top of double boiler, and beaters are completely grease free!
My method is to a chocolate box cake: is chocolate pudding mixed chocolate milk or u can use chocolate yogurt mixed with cocoa powder to the box cake mix with butter & one extra egg. white cake mix: plain yogurt milk sour cream instant vanilla pudding butter eggs.

I had gestational diabetes with both my pregnancies and was pre-diabetic for quite awhile post-partum, so I can totally relate!
1 box of cake mix, 2 sticks of real butter, 5 🥚 eggs, 2 table spoon of vanilla flavor/ very important, 1 box of pudding mix, 1 cup of flour, and 1 cup of oil, thank me later 😊
I didn't think you could add pudding to a mix that already has pudding in it - the cake texture will be stiff and hard - not nice like this one. Also, another option for the cake pans would be PAM baking spray.....
