Y’all wanna know something crazy...I had an issue in the hood...basically across the street from the projects right there by the blue line station & ONE DUDE FROM PUEBLO & ONE DUDE FROM 38ST helped me out. This was less than 10 years ago & I used to skate/tag. I stayed on 48 & Central & went to Jefferson so I ended up getting hella passes from a lot of different hoods bc they knew me from skating spots in different territories. If you from that area between the ages of 25-38 you know I’m telling the truth ...anyway they BOTH had by back at the same time. Gave me a strap and all lol. PEACE IN SOUTH CENTRAL NOW!!! BLACK & BROWN UNITY NOW!!! All this beef shit rn is dumb af & it’s sad bc it’s controlled by jail/prison shit by ppl that haven’t seen outside in FOREVER making calls based on their own racial apprehensions bc they can’t be seen as weak. It’s ok...talk to your neighbors. You don’t have to get along w everyone but just beef w whoever you have beef w not the entire race SMH. We ALL like tamales & we all like soul food get it together fuck...it’s 2019. I wanna have kids soon. How tf can we even do those things if the hood is all kinds of fucked up. I used to see him walking with his son all the time. I would run into his wife and kids in the mornings growing up in the pueblos on my way to the blue line. I remember his son I think his name started with the letter M. This one time we got into a lil discussion but we were able to talk it out. I knew something about OG Studderbox stood out from the beginning! *Eastside Low Bottoms shit !* Being raised in the turf and NOT bangin', but being around that shit, it fucked me up to learn that the 'Lo's and Vill's was going at it...and then the 'Lo's and 38's. I was around these dudes, back in the late 80's and early 90's whn u would regularly see "FDVP" or "FDPV" on the walls. Having family from both sets, i couldn't understand how someone could "allow" that alliance to dissipate. But i also understand that there are too many personalities to manage. I remember being a teen at Slauson Park back then with Famm from both sides. As a resident...a PROUD resident of these Low Bottoms, having friends and family from the Pueblos, Villain AND 38, i hope these differences get worked out in the long run. There's too much rich history down here ! It's now known as "Historic South Central" because of it. I remember the days, even before the Blue Line was built, walking thru Fred Roberts Park, across the tracks to the Alameda Swapmeet to get my khaki's and rap tapes and D batteries ! Lol. I was one of those dudes mobbin' thru the turf with a big ass radio and a pocket full of cassette tapes ! And shout out to da Big Homie Leon. He iiiis doing great work in the streets. And the Big Homie G Mike doing the gang prevention as well. Naythin but respect for the OG's tryna make a difference. Props to OG Stutterbox, and Streetgangs for the platform to allow these street soldiers to tell their stories, on a HUMAN level ! I think it's therapeutic for these guys to express themselves in this manner. Kz ppl on the outside looking in just put us (Black and Brown) all in a category of "savage" or worse ! But whn these "others" kill a church full of innocent ppl, "they" get a trip to Burger King before they're charged with a crime. While "they" get "evaluations", WE get "permanent vacations" !
