The song at the end is a traditional Tibetan song called "Liu Lang De Mu Ren", which means "Wandering Shepherds".

I am so happy when you make a video from an area from tea that I've already had! I bought the KXQM cake as soon as it was released and it's one of my favourite teas I've tried this year so far! The thickness and mouthfeel is unmatched so far, I can still imagine it sticking to my teeth as it passes across them. There is a pronounced perfumed fruit sweet note throughout coupled with a creamy and nutty grain note (toasted oats to me) that combines to form a very well made pu-erh with stand out flavours and aromas that remind me of rhubarb crumble for me. Once I noticed it, there is a rhubarb note that comes early and lingers in the mouth long after the swallow that along with the thickness defines the tea and makes it one of my favourite young shengs I've tried to date. I would typically have said Jingmai produces my favourite teas, but this year has really opened my eyes to Kunlu Shan. I can't wait for Slumbering Dragon 2018 to be released so it can be on its way to a loving home already!

Thanks for the video. The song at the end of it is "Homeless Shepherd" from Suo Langzhaxi.

Those dragon trees are tea trees? Holy.

They're really tall and skinny. They grow in threes. The leaf material is at the top. The pickers climb up barefoot.

I love this video :) is the Slumbering Dragon more of a ye sheng/purple tea (Camelia Sinensis var. Assamica Dehongensis) or a regular sheng puer (Camelia Sinensis var. Assamica)? I can’t wait to sample it in a few weeks. However looking at the leaf on your website and the description of the lingering intense bitterness reminded me of a young ye sheng tea, ye sheng is awesome :) Also, have you tried Hai Lang Hao‘s Lao Ban Zhang? How would you rate it against other LBZs such as the one from Mengku tea factory and/or the ChenShengHao LBZ? Thank you very much for the wonderful videos and all the responses you’ve given me on other comments over the past few days. I wish you a very nice day :)

Purple isn't yesheng and yesheng isn't purple. Purple can be yesheng and yesheng can be purple but they're not the same thing. It doesn't help that there are multiple definitions for both yesheng and purple in China. Slumbering Dragon is a wild varietal grown wild. I've not spent much time with other company offerings of LBZ. I can't compare them, I'm sorry.

@@CrimsonLotusTea thank you very much for your response. I understand, in the end it’s quite irrelevant after all how we‘d name the plant as the Flavor it’ll produce is indescribable by words anyways. It has to be experienced. Do you Feature your own LBZ? If so I’d love to get some the next time it’s available. I’m really enjoying hai Lang’s LBZ at the moment, but I’m always looking for trustworthy sources who sell other LBZs :)

So, how do they get up high to pick leafs? Ladders? Climb the tree? Hang out on branches? 😄
@CrimsonLotusTea

Pretty much each of those things. They will make ladders for some trees. Others they just climb barefoot and hang out on the limbs. :-D
