Trip to P.R. was so great & people were fantastic & friendly. We stayed in the country along the coast out of the 'tourist' areas. Wouldn't hesitate to return at a moments' notice! Loved the island & people.@@LauWasHere
U know what I liked from this gathering was the respect, love and the good time no much drinking shown everything very respectful mad respect for this entire family God bless them to.
It's interesting how nowadays things are documented much easier. Back in 1981 I decided to walk Puerto Rico. Started in Guayanilla and in 3 days I walked as far as Rio Piedras and back. When I returned, they literally threw a party with roast pig and the works. Memories that will last a lifetime.
I am in tears because I love this everything in this video the gathering and the hospitality gives me so many memories! My family is from San Sebastián.
Naranjito has spectacular views and the people are so lovely. They fill you up with food "del Pais,", then they ask you if you are going eat now.🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷😍😍😍👋👋👋💯💯💯💃💃💃 I wanna 😭 cry, so beautiful 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
Tears came out as I remember from seeing this beautiful family get together and how they treated Laura similar to how my family use to be in the late 60's and early 80's. This love is genuine , pure from the heart which comes from God and his son Jeasus Christ. God bless everyone in the video. Much love to everyone from NY, Edwin
It is nice to see someone who cares about our culture it's been years since I have been to my native island I am from Anasco P.Ri was rise in Bk NYi miss all the good times girl do what you do I have not been to PR in 25 years M6 Blessings to you
Three kings Day a Celebration that I remember well. I remember placing grass and water under the bed for the camels to eat and in return they left gifts. Similar to Santa Clause where you left him cookies and milk and he left you toys. In Puerto Rico the toys were left under your bed. Lau that was some celebration with The good people of the island. And the food and drink were traditional. Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure. ❤
Omg I love those get togethers they are the best, best people, best food ,best music ,best parties, blessings to you all!!!!! Thankyou for Sharing with us!!!!❤😊
What a beautiful outcome to the car overheating! Such a great welcoming family. Me & 3 friends will be going to Yabucoa in a couple of weeks & hope to meet such friendly people.
One thing about Puerto Ricans, and I’m Puerto Rican born there, they are very helpful, very helpful. I live in the mainland, but I love my birthplace and my people. And yes, I go every year. 🇵🇷💃🏻❤️
Reminds me of every family get-together I had as a kid. My stupid large Puerto Rican family would show up for my grandmother's annual family get-together. Like people would fly in from the island. I'd meet relatives I never knew I had. I love it... and good lord, do I miss it. This video totally reminded me of my childhood. ❤❤❤❤
Hey Lau! the car overheated but at the end was worth it, i love all your tideos but i think this is one of the best ones, that view from that mountain and that food yuuummmy and that big and beautiful family that's priceless i love big families... not to mention you drinking Coquito con ron ay bendito... party # 2 was really good everybody drinking, dancing, singing having a good time that was awesome, you deserve it Boricua blanquita...
You have no idea how much I miss that food! My family used to gather like that out here in California, but L now the Tias and Tíos are all gone and the cousins don’t gather. How I miss it all

We spent a month in PR over the holidays and I live in the Bay Area California and til PR i didn’t know loud music like that lol. We spent Tres Reyes in the mountains- Hotel Juanita so lovely and chill.
I’m so happy you didn’t spend this day alone. 3 kings day. Was always something special at my home but now most of my day are spent alone no friends. family very far away
I remember Naranjito. Beautiful town and great mountain views. I knew a Nationalist that lived there. He was a great guy and friend of the family. Enjoy getting to explore PR with you while not able to physically go there.
As a white guy in PR for work, I wish my Spanish was better. The people I've met are beyond kind and hospitable. Great people and a beautiful island. I wish i could see more of it, but working 12 hr shifts make it nearly impossible. I wanted to do the tourist stuff.
