Yummy. Love your version. Never thought to add sugar. I saw a girl that added vinegar to her beans and they chewed her up in the comments. My thing is, it’s your home, your food, way bash the way people cook 😩…Great video 🙏🏼
Thank you! I actually learned the sugar trick from a really old Puerto Rican cook book from the 60’s. 🤯 Also, I agree! Everyone has their own take and twists on traditional things. Thank you for watching! ❤️
🤣🤣 Thank you! I had gotten the sugar trick from a really old P.R. cook book. I found it odd, but it balances out everything well. Totally optional, of course!
I like your video. And it helps. I,ve never make this before. I know how to make Puerto Rican style white rice it's a easy recipe. Brown sugar glazed ham will be delicious with all together. I love glazed ham.
Like 350 Well prepared in putting all the ingredients certainly this is really yummy, thanks for sharing this beautiful and mouthwatering recipe, stay safe always.
I love your channel but I would love to see a video where you use the original methods instead of the Goya packets. I know this has become traditional but they do not contain the best ingredients, such as MSG and Red 40. How were these dishes made before seasoning packets?
I love watching your videos because I recently moved and I’m away from my dad and he always cooks these dishes and I never knew how he did it because he never measures or writes down recipes lol so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart 😭😭🫶🏼❤️🔥
