Hi! Any tips on how to get ready for the rainforest tour?

If you have a good pair of comfortable hiking shoes that you don't mind getting wet, I would use those instead of water shoes. There are slippery spots and eventhough you will make it through with the water shoes, the hiking boots will provide more stability. I would wear a biker short set over a swim suit. A few people were scratched up sliding down the rocks but I wasn't since I always wear shorts or Capris on these types of excursions.

i have a question. how did you get to the rainforest. i have some concerns about safety when i go there so is it safe to take a taxi

Is it optional to go down the slide if you do not know how to swim? I am going in 10 days but I don’t know how to swim

You will be fine going down the slide if you don't know how to swim You will have on a life vest and there will be on of the guides to catch you as soon as you go down the slides.

To answer you question though...you could wait in the pond area while everyone does the water slides (it's several). You will be waiting for over an hour or two though.
