It's not like we were amazing last year, which means this particular group and energy now would have been a problem for any team. Not like we don't have a history of beating the best in the world before, or anything. Your team's could've's would've's and should've's are for you to process as you will, but by no means are they some absolute measurement of a certain outcome as you've convinced yourself of, especially not with this team we have. All I know is PR's coaching staff prepared really hard to work Europeans teams from the defensive side. Before this tournament PR had only 2 wins vs Euro teams in 20 years and they got 2 out of 2 on this tournament. They deserve lots of credit.

Puerto Rico is a great team with players in NBA and european teams. The basketball is globalized and in this kind of scenarios there isn’t a small rival anymore.
