I think it was the opposite based on what Keefe D said to Greg. He said he was gonna handle it back in LA but Zip told him it’s perfect timing to collect that $1 million. Money motivated them to go at Pac that night.

Real difficult to figure out how much of the motivation for the shooting came from the MGM fight vs. the alleged bounty. If Orlando had never killed before I might buy that he was influenced & talked into it by Keefe, but Orlando was under investigation for 2 homicides before 2Pac. He was not a guy to let that slide, bounty or no bounty. He died 2 years later in a shootout he initiated, probably over a drug debt worth less than $500. It didn’t take $1 million for Orlando to go homicidal. I’d still place like 75% of the motivation on the MGM fight & like 25% at best on the bounty that was “in the air” according to Keefe. Just my opinion though.
