This is quite strange. Almost every artist interviewed on the Art of Dialogue drop Puffy's name either directly or indirectly. They all cannot be orchestrating the same lie. That Puffy guy has a lot to repent for! 🤔
Pac had ptsd from things he went through since a youngin untill his death. That with his work ethic and unhealthy lifestyle was a deadly combination. Everybody who have gone through the same things know this. You become more aggressive with time, you don’t think clearly, you become paranoid, you have head aches, stomach aches, basically your whole system gets fucked up. I still suffered from it time to time. That’s why loyalty becomes the most important thing.
@@marvinhouse8545 Like I said, you had to go through it in order to get it. Or at least listen/read to understand not to reply. Just like him I was raised by a single mother who is a an activist. I was taught as a child to observe and analyze my surroundings, to read the news paper, analyze politics, about homicide, suicide, the effect of drugs and alcohol, he motives of doing drugs etc, about racism, bullying, prostitution, corruption, the history of slavery. We weren't poor, but we went through some hard times too. I was more intelligent than my peers, so I got the task at school to tutor them. But I also felt like I was responsible for their future. All this when I was between the age of 7-13. Because of that you tend to believe that you have the tools to change the world and those that you helped will always have your back. Till something happens to you and you come to the realization, that you was just caught up in the mix. People believes that being ahead of your time is a blessing, but in reality you continuously you got to watch your back for those who wants to use you for their personal gains. And yes I has ptsd, because like Pac used to say, things will never change.
I honestly think Biggie didn't know but PUFFY tho yeah he knew exactly. But we will never know unless something comesup. I just know we lost 2 of the greatest over bs.
What they didn't expect was for tupac to oull out a gun. They just expected for the guns to steal tupacs jewelry and make him look like a punk on the streets for being disrespectful.
Spice 1 is a living legend. He falls into the category of "Your favorite rapper's favorite rapper". Alot of rappers either referenced his name in their songs or in some fashion bit his rap style. He never gets the credit he deserves for his flow or lyrical word-play. When Tupac said Spice 1 is his favorite rapper, that means something.
2Pac used to blast Spice 1 music in New York like it was Cali. He was featured on Amerikkka's Nightmare album in 94. Jealous got me strapped is illest cut on that album.
Jealous got me Strapped is a good song. IMHO "Face of a desperate man" and "Sticking to he G code" are the best tracks on that album. I been a Spice 1 fan since "Let it be known". Real East Bay gangsta shit. My nephew says Spice is his favorite rapper I used to babysit him and bump the Self titled album in 1992 when he was a baby.
@@abubakr5627 I can play every Speezy album up to Black Bossalini and won't skip 1 track. The production on some of his later stuff was aiight. Still got some bangers tho.
I think everyone that criticized pac didn't realize he had alot to be furious about...everything started going down hill for him...the run ins with police, the rape case, the attempt on his life, the government trying to silence him, having to hold down a rape case and he wasn't in the room..Ask yourself would u not snitch and hold your boys down in a rape case and u wasn't there when it happened??? A rape case....... He still had his bandages on when they locked him up.....sitting there in that cell alone ..he had to be furious..sitting there reading studying writing..planning his get back...ppl now saying they know who shot him..the media turned against him calling him a rapist...the ppl he had around him set him up to get shot...someone saying u was part of a rape....pac was still young and that was a little bit too much for him to swallow..his darkest thoughts consumed him in that cell..Pac was furious ...mad at the world.......The devil came in the form of Suge Knight and said I can get u out of here....I can restore your glory and power tenfold...... From day 1 of him coming home his wrath was unmerciful..... It was supposed to be ...they just forgot what they created... U can hear the pain, anger, disappointment, rage, hurt in every song he did after he got out of that place.....he came home different....the Dark knight...... GOD May have wanted him to sit that 1-4 years..maybe continue reading,,educating himself,,growing physically and mentally...God may have just wanted him to take time out just to understand his influence, power and purpose... One thing is for certain the devil smelled that anger, revenge, hatred, confusion, wrath coming up out that prison cell..... And he whispered the magic words oh so seductively " I can get u out of here" Rip 🙏 to the prohhet.....almost 30 yrs later still all eyes on u!!
He became a legend after he died. People make a lot of money off of Pac's death. Had he stayed alive he wouldn't have been this popular I believe. He's a dramatic & interesting story bc of how controversial he was, then of course the inevitable, his demise. But this Quad studio incident was the beginning of that heavy drama he & the media wheeled to sell what you now have, "The Pac Legend!"
Yes because Ppl keep rewriting history & significant individuals haven't spoke about certain things. Puffy IS a $quare with money & CAN put some money own yo head, Especially if you talked the shish Pac had Talked & the his 'Ceo' bangin Yo favorite Babymama. Biggie was a hustler NOT a gangster so I doubt "Bigg" had ANYTHING to do with Pac getting Shot despite him maybe knowing who was behind it though.

Spice 1 and MC 8 are probably 2 of the hardest and gangsta rappers from the West Coast, especially in the 90's. I remembered in high school bumping "187 Proof". That shit used to go hard with that bumping bass. It was also a funny and creative rap song about liquor drinks being mobsters and gangsters especially if you seen the video for it. Spice 1 was one of Pac's homie that rode with Pac. He got stories with Pac about the Hughes brothers and Pac showed him a lot of love because he sampled Spice 1 lyrics in some of his songs. They were so cool, Pac used to say, "Say Spice 1 I am calling you just to tell you I am sampling your voice in one of my songs", lol.
The last part that Spice said about Biggie owing money, I been saying that for years! My opinion, the crips killed Big but P-Diddy was the intended target for not paying all the money for the Pac hit.
They were too afraid to get in that. As a Pac fan I wish that night never happened. Puffy and Big weren't willing to jeopardize their lives for pac. Them dudes were really in the streets who came at pac. RIP Pac & Big 🕊️ 🕊️

As Pac always said : "Trust no one!"... & at the end of it all, everyone mentioned, had a beef with Pac, for just being Pac! Envy & jealousy ran high, & Pac always lived with that target on him. There were many reasons people of the Industry did not want Pac around; they admired him, yet hated him at the same time. Each played a role. There may have been many instigators, but one trigger happy~Pac knew it! The trash of the media always bled into it, making things into something it wasn't, adding fuel to the fire in others minds. Sean Combs back then, til now, was always one to stir the pot, to keep his name associated with Pac, whether it is relevant or not. Once again Pac paid the price for it all, & peeps all around are still riding high in his name because of it. It disgusts me. #TrueLegendsNeverDie #PacForever ❤
Good interview, I hope that in later interviews, we get to hear more about Spice-1 and his music. S1 is one the most important figures in the gangsta rap era of the 1990's. Spice-1 first 5 albums are nuttin but classics🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
It’s funny how back then we heard these stories all over LA County how it all went down with PAC & Big. And as time went by people who retold the story was called a liar. AOD is putting in good work by letting the people who was there tell the story and with the internet the world can hear what was happening back then in the industry.
Right on man, I remember when Screw got a hold of those classic Spice one tracks.....man those summers were full of jams. As a matter of fact I'm about to jam some after this video.
No wonder Pac was mad at Stretch. I'll be mad too if I was wrestling a guy with a gun, and my homeboys was just standing there. I had two guys claiming to have guns ran up on me and my friend. My friend was too scared to fight back, so he ran and left me to fight alone. I could see if he would had called 911, but he ran straight home and told his family to tell anyone calling for him that he was sleeping.
@@SoulOfTheSouth I know. But Tupac did said the men walked passed Stretch to get to him. I'm not accusing Stretch of anything, just some are not built for certain scenarios.
Jimmy orchestrated all the artists to be in the studio to show them first hand what happens if anyone crosses him. It was a show of strength. As Pac and others have since divulged..Jimmy and Jack had their foot on the throats of many of the NY artists! I doubt any of them knew. Although they knew about the issues between Jimmy/Jack and Pac. The only person who set Pac up was Strech. He was updating Jimmy on Pacs movements so the gunmen knew when to be ready and enter the studio lounge.
Wasn't they trying to get Pac to let Puff manage him?!? Pac said no and then this happened. There was a reason Jack was hanging out with Pac in the first place and that was to get him to agree to be managed by Puff. I think is why they wouldn't help him when he went to prison. He asked Puff to bail him out. I don't know if they just didn't have the bread or if they called themselves teaching him a lesson.
@@carloszaragoza619 Mike Tyson said it best, "Pac was out of his league hanging with them Brooklyn goons." And Mike loved & loves Pac. I heard this from my family in Brownsville. Crazy but true. I agree with Mike, Pac was out of his league for real.
Biggie and Mike Tyson warned Pac about those dudes on several occasions but he wouldn’t listen….So why is it Puff and Biggie’s responsibility to get into that beef? Puffy was supposed to be going there because of Big being there on the 8th floor recording with JM. However they claim they didn't even know Puff was there on the 6th floor. They were having a party on the 6th floor. According to Lil Shawn Puff had been there for hours before the shooting happened. Pac kept changing his mind about going. Also, there is an interview with Pras from Fugees who claimed he was with Pac that day and was supposed to go to Quad with them, but that he got a call from someone telling him not to come. My question for him would have been did you tell Pac and Stretch and the others what someone just told you?!?!
Pac blaiming certain people he was involved with makes perfect sense as a human being. Some people are more subtle about blaming others after a incident like thats an others are more vocal because they want to see how people will react after being accused. Im not saying pac was right, but put in those same circumstances and having time to think about it in the hospital, when youre dealing with street people, along with rich people like puffy its becomes hard to trust anyone. Had that never happened there would of never been no imaginary eastcoast vs westcoast.
My question is, why didn't he go hard on the people who shot him? He knew exactly who shot him. Instead he went after Big & Bad Boy. So much for "Thug Life."
@Big Galaxy THAT'S A BIG FACT...but to answer your question. Pac expected them to play the mediator and help the situation, like he often would himself. I respected B.I.G but I lost it all when he didn't left Bad Boy records immediately after his friend 2pac got shot down stairs the same building where they had the studio. A true friend would never continued working with Puffy. This entire video is a Gem💎
Then biggie himself probably would've gotten shot before his first album dropped. If puffy is really the snake most people say he is, then biggie leaving over the 2pac shooting would've rubbed puff the wrong way, not only because puffy would lose his main star power artist, but biggie would also be seen as a potential snitch.
Not Bigs fault, Puff set both of them up and his plan worked perfectly, Big was about to leave and call his own shots under Puff he was not calling the shots
Spice 1 is one of the last loyal and tru to the game out there! No fake conversations about everybody is good and everything is fine... just talk about his truth
I wish someone would explain how Biggie had something to gain from Tupac being shot at Quad…Pac was more of an ally and was beneficial to Big’s success, how did having Pac shot benefit Big??????
Noone thinks Big had anything to do with. There aren't tht many big time black folk so they rub shoulders. Most of the big NY guys knew or knew of Henchman and Haitian... Whether or not Puff knew... Who knows... Could Jimmy have let Puff know.... Sure... Would he? Who knows
Big could have felt some type of way toward Pac for saying those were his hammers in the hotel room. Also , if we believe Lil Shawn, he said Big told him that he tried to warn Pac about Jack and that Pac mentioned it to Someone in Jack camp and that Big got robbed?!? I have never heard anyone else tell that story, but I could think of a couple reasons why Big may have not said anything to Pac about what was being planned.
