was born in pukapuka,roto village many many moons ago..i left there when i was 4years old, went to raro n then came to auck ,nz .never been back for over 30years .i pray to my god that one day if i save or win the lotto ..i will go back to my mother land & pay respect to all my ancestors before i die ....in auckland new zealand....love n respect to all my true son's of pukapuka......(WALE TILL I DIE)....cook islands.....2010 waz here...
wow this is incredible... I became fascinated with the Cook Islands through books written by Robert Dean Frisbie and Tom Neale... I've always wanted to make my way there someday I live in United States maybe it's just a dream.. I should find out about immigration laws to see if it's even possible God bless

It looks to me that Puka-Puka may need to consider some type of immigration program as an aid to maintaining the population. Declining native birth rates and emigration cannot be countered merely by asking the original natives to come home.

Yes, by all means send people to RDF's works, they are worth the work he put into the island's history, it will always be cemented in writing chalices forever. Aside for that, Im writing a climate change parer for this quarter's finals, and Pukapuka is the center piece, so let's check it out when it's finished and do a little social networking for the nation and our people, right? Surely! haha..Surely we would all do something if we could, and if we can, we do, we write a research paper for a final, in America, right, or wherever you are, right? And, we publish the 'TUTAIMORE' 'the living shit out of it, right? There's not much else we can do right now, but I plan to go home and make a stink!
