Ok, I really like your products. And own more than a few. However this one I will call you out on. You are reusing fasteners (bolts and nuts) without cleaning / checking or using some sort of thread locker ( if it’s used at the time of assembly). Then you state to torque to 90 ft. lbs. and 55 ft. lbs respectfully. The socket didn’t even move! So the bolts that were put on with an impact are over spec (3 of the 4 you can see in the video) the smaller mount retaining nuts appeared to be tightened. Over tight fasteners could cause premature fatigue or failure. Do you agree?

Thank you for your comment, and we appreciate your feedback. Cleaning/checking the threads if they are dirty or have something on them is a good idea. You can use new hardware, but it isn’t always necessary. We are not using torque to yield the fasteners, so they can be reused. This was for instructional purposes only. In the video, we were not trying to fully torque the hardware. This was simply to show that customers needed to torque the bolts.
