I wanted to order the Pullup Mate II or the Pullup Mate with extension and close grip dip attachment, but their site would not give a quote for shipping (USA) and was unable to place an order. So I ended up getting a "knock off" which probably is made in the same Chinese factory. I had an oar for my stand-up paddle board that had 3 attach points that was loose and wobbly. What I did to make it tight was put some tape around the male end of the attach points to make it thicker and that tightened it right up, felt very solid after that. Planning to do the same with the pull up station.
hi, I started exercising at 70 years old. If you are investing into Pull Up Mate, I suggest to start with the parallel bars (I had to cut it down to 39 inches bcoz of my height of 5 ft 7 inches). Its a lot of fun. Then you can add the pull up mate later. thx EdA
I really enjoyed your video, I got so caught up in it that I’m running late for work. Nice job thank you for the info. You definitely convince me that this will be a worth wild investment.
Congratulations! This is what I've been waiting for! I am looking forward to purchasing it. By the way, the accent and accentuation are so Hungarian!!! Also note the beautiful old wooden door at the typical high ceiling century-turn stylish apartment.
Dunno if u'r still on the ball but i'll question anyway, can it be easily disassembled in order to stow it away when unused (under a bed for instance )?thx.
I have this and it wobbles. I’m thinking of trying to get some kind of collar to stabilise it. It annoys me because I have a strict precise technique. I can do 200 dips and 100 pull-ups. The wobble of this creates extreme tension for me. You can probably not ‘see’ it while I train because my technique is robotic, but it’s agonising for me.
I found it generally good, but I felt the ergonomics of the main grip bar could be much better. I have large hands, so okay for me, but it is too big for my wife's hands. The lat pull-up bar should have inclined handles. I noticed you can now buy an attachment that addresses those issues, but it is a bit pricey. The base product should already have those improvements in it. But over-all - quite good.
I bought it for my son it's not very stable to be honest. If you can do pull-ups without any swing it's OK. Same as muscle ups if your very good at them then it's fine but any swing and it break.
Which one do you specifically think about comparing against Pullup Mate? We'd have to see the exact model, if you send it over, we're happy to take a look.
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ru-vid.comUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
Michael Foster I have what looks to be an identical version, but all black, from Amazon, the dip spacing is wide, 25” center to center...wide if you are trying to work triceps, but absolutely perfect for chest dips, which I do weighted for my main heavy chest lift at home. I wouldn’t have the spacing any other way, it is perfect for my purpose.
Dani was invented I don’t see the exact one anymore, but it is just like the one in the video, except all black. Some similar ones on Amazon now are the Popsport tower and the GoBeast
Hi, definitely, that's what the Close Grip Dip Kit is for. Take a look here: pum.sh/shop-mvw2 (This is the station itself and the dip kit, but you can also buy the dip kit separately)
Exactly what ring exercises do you think about using? It depends on the exercise type, because as we mentioned in the video, for dynamic exercises the PullupMate might not be sturdy enough.
