If you were still imnspired to make videos on this topic and could discuss how to use the GND pin when using the machine stand alone I would appreciate it so much. Thanks a lot.Can you briefly tell me what you mean by 16th triggers from the PNW. In my case here i cant clock the shaos with one the different clockouts of PNW PPEXP1 or an square pulse with a very short width.Cant clock the shaos with pam at all.But it works perfect with the right hand tigger out of maths ! Its a higher voltage shows me my DATA or VCR.
sorry for the confusion, I meant 16th notes triggers, which is, if you assign one of the PNW's channels to Square and the speed at X4. what you said is correct, you can't clock the SHOAS because the PNW voltage output is 5volts and SHAOS needs 10 volts. so to make it work you can use your Maths. patch the output of a PNW channel that you want to clock the SHAOS with to channel 1 of Maths (the left side). make sure to put the Rise knob all the to the left and then use the EOR (end of rise) output of Maths to clock the the SHAOS. an alternative is to clock Pulsar with PNW (PNW is the master clock). with this one you don't need to use Maths. just assign a channel of PNW to the speed at X8 and SQR. patch it to the clock in of Pulsar(the clock in of Pulsar doesn't need 10 volts to work it works just fine with 5 volts), from here you can clock the SHAOS with one of Pulsar's clock dividers. just make sure to put the "INT MIDI" switch in the center which is the external mode. let me know if have any other questions
Hi! You should check Adamski A (The Advanc3d) videos about his DIY tinkering. This man explains some things in a pretty casual way but he gives some schematics also! You'll get better about all these components and get more ideas for Pulsar. If Pulsar has +-12v supply for users then it will be handy as well! If not then you can use your modulars' PSUs. I think it's not a crime to borrow some power from your "boxes" :)
