I'm shocked, because beeing shocked on a boardzy video is normal. The fact is that the word shocking means extremely surprising. In that case, I'm not shocked to see a mouse review on the boardzy channel, becus its normal and not shocking at all... but the way he told us his opinion is shocking : he is bored outside but inside, his big brain is shocked, EXTREMELY shocked. And this is why, in my opinion, this review shocked me at this point.
Definitely safer. I accidentally cut a part of this vid where I said it feels like a mix of the za12 and xm1r, so if that sounds good you'll probably like it
I’m in love with the “medium” Xlite v2. I placed some grips on it and it’s absolutely incredible to use. Something about the ergo shape makes my old Superlight feel like a clunky, heavy dumbbell.
@@kingjordan9271 Honestly, no, I no longer use it. I moved to the DeathAdder V3 Pro and now I'm actually using the Endgame XM2WE. The DAV3 was amazing but the XM2 feels like it's part of my hand, like it's locked in there. I use a relaxed claw grip.
Really niceeeeee review as always boardzy.. been looking for a comparison of the x2 in there different sizes.. Thanks for this man! I got small hands but I'm maining v2 mini currently but with grips on the hump though.. I'm not really sure which between the two sizes im gonna go for though..
Just got my mini in the mail. All 4 clicks have incredible quality. My main mouse clicks have literally no wobble and very minor post and pre travel. Side buttons are flawless. Only mouse with better main better clicks is the mz1. No chassis flex or rattle either. Basically I either won the qc lottery or they have definitely improved production models.
@CvD No, I doubt you'll find many mice with Kailh 8.0 switches that double-click. Kailh 8.0 is built like a tank. That thing is not breaking or double-clicking like the g pro omrons.
@CvD That's weird. I currently have 3 mice with Kailh 8.0 and they are all solid clicks with zero instances of double click that I can notice. Once again, maybe I just have won qc lottery, but I feel like I have some statistical significance considering it's the same switch in 3 different brands. To expand, I actually think my xlite mini has the best build and clicks overall of all of my mice, this includes GPX, Viper v2 and Deathadder v3. Only the mz1 has a better main click sound.
the only thing I'm really worried about with that new fantech mouse is the build quality but some small unnoticeable annoyances would be fine at the 68 dollar price point.
A lot of fingertip grippers, myself included, prefer having the meaty part of the thumb part of the palm touching. It helps with stability overtime since it keeps the mouse from slipping down out of your grip without having to apply a lot of pressure onto your mouse with your fingertips. I think this is considered a fingertip-palm hybrid technically but many many use it this way and a mouse with a hump still is perfect for that
@@heeroyui9439 depends. Each finger has 3 knuckles, with the final knuckle denoting the end of the finger. The thumbs 'third knuckle' or joint is indeed below the thumb pouch one uses for stability in this context, so you could say you still only use fingers since no part of your actual palm touches it...making it more fingertip than anything else.
I wish the DPI button was at the top of the mouse. Putting a DPI button at the bottom is equivalent to not including one at all. You can't use it in-game, and you can't rebind it to something else.
I fingertip but I dont like super narrow mice so I'm def avoiding mini. With the pulsar v2 mini being my main i think the dimensions are the same as the x2 medium at the grip. Curious to see how Zowie goes about their mice. I feel like theyre going to go for 60 ish grams just because they dont want to be the same as everyone else.
I love my superlight but the hump in the back is JUST enough to make me want to grab this mini. That and the switch in the superlight that causes the double click. Grabbing this will actually give me some motivation to change the switches in the superlight too as I'll have a backup. Thanks for the review!
@@duhfuhfh96 Same here, got myself a modded PCB for the Superlight since it’s probably the only brand where modding (at least in Aus) is being offered. Best decision ever made. But I’ll be buying the X2 medium once it gets here later this month, and switch between the two. Should last a good couple of years with them.
You're excited about them changing the side buttons compared to the xlite, but I love the side buttons on my xlite v2 mini. I don't really know how to explain it. They feel like a fairly cheap switch, but the way they're implemented just feels nice to me. The shape of the side buttons on the xlite is really nice, where as the ones on the x2 just look small
So the mini is one of the best mice for small hands from what it looks like idk? 17.5cm/9cm here, I really hope this will replace the superlight for me
omg we have the same hand size. I think im gonna cop the mini, currently using a razer viper ult v1 and im looking for something smaller. I used the g305 and i really liked the size but it was too heavy for me so i think for our hand size, the mini would be perfect
Bringing up the viper mini as a comparison while not mentioning that it has a factory defect that causes the scroll to go wonky after a few months of use is akin to malpractice.
Been using the m42 wired ever since it came out, this is the only mouse that actually made me want to switch. Imo better than the Lamzu Atlantis for fingertip.
Yo Boardzy, could you show the measurement of both the X2 and X2 Mini's grip width (towards the bottom of the most at kind of the narrowest point) in millimeters in your X2 medium review? Kinda want the medium for the length but worried about it being too wide at the grip point. I don't want anything wider at the grip than the PFH wireless.
I'm so sad that after the first 15min I wasn't able to get the mouse on release. I'm genuinely very surprised because it seems like they only made a couple hundred mice for the drop. I hope in the next restock they make a coating change and what not, but I also hope they actually produce more mice. Sadge
BIG PROBLEM! Try this if you have the Pulsar X2 Mini (cant say for medium as i only own the Mini) Either on normal desktop use or gaming, if you hold Mouse 1 and either Mouse 4 or 5. The mouse will freeze for a good 2 seconds. I have accidentally had my Pulsar X2 Mini freeze on me when in intense matches or if i use or bind my buttons on my Mouse 4 and 5. I have submitted a ticket to Pulsar about this and you should to if you have it. I have the latest software and firmware update from their website right now. Let me know if you guys tried this to see if you are having the same issue.
Nice review. I wanna know how does it feel when compared to the viper mini? I'm a starlight-12 small fingertip user who enjoys using the starlight but can't use the viper mini at all due to the larger hump and length.
Please i need an advice, i'm a relaxed claw grip player with small hands. i had a Logitech G203 for years and i loved it, do you think is better the Mini or Medium version of the X2 for me?
Looking forward to a new mousepad (aqua control 2) but I have an issue, that I don't which is the difference/which is the best. Bro if you can go to Amazon Spain, and pass me the link of the seal of approval one. (I've watched the tier list, the review and a video of topo mousepads Ander 30 and I still don't understand) Great video!
I'd rather have the blinking led on the side than the blinking from inside the mouse on the xlite v2. My hand is covering it most of the time and it has died on me in game at least 5 times.
I liked my Pulsar x2 mini but it broke after 1 month, it has a severe double clicking issue, to the point where every time I click it does 2-3 clicks at a time.
Good video but they should’ve put mouse 1 and 2 on the left and right sides of the mouse rather than on the top. That would’ve been more shocking, maybe have 2 scroll wheels as well
have you had any issues with the mouse quality wise? and did you order from their site? i’m thinking of buying the x2 mini but i’ve been hearing bad things about the quality :(
Getting the mini next week. Already habe the big one. I hope U are right with the ftip statement my friend. Btw WALHAUT gets a new brother. I send U when it's available 😊
Which would you recommend for me, hand width 10.5cm, I've tried the Xm1 before and always found the grip width to be too narrow due to how aggressive it slops inwards. Find the Xtrfy M42 too narrow. Cheers! Great review as always.
Same for the m42 its also a bit to narrow for me. I kind of want a mouse that flares out to the right side kind of like a ergo mouse but without the hump on the left side that makes it feel a little clunky. I feel like that would be my perfect mouse for my relaxed claw palm hybrid thing I do.
My hand size is 17.5cm 9.5cm and palm claw grip. Currently I am using Hati s as my main. Would a mini be good? (The only problem with Hati-s at the moment is stab palm under thumb. So my palms are stuffy..)
