This is the show that made me fall in love with WGI, it was my first year performing down at Dayton, and the sheer amazement of my first time seeing this live will never leave my body
if you havnt seen northcoast academy's 2012 show, u HAVE to. insane cymbal breaks and throws and tricks. its not the cleanest show ever but it was so much fun
I'm a former Pulse Open member (now known as POW Percussion) 💜 So happy to have the Pulse family be recognized Also, unpopular opinion but I think this show is better than MCM 2017 😬
You are correct in your assumption that mcm was ungodly clean that year to be that high on the list. Honestly this show is what made me come back for 2018, it really made me go “ok this activity is insane” and probably one of the shows that cemented my preference for WGI over dci. If you’re gonna do any more of these I’d suggest mcm 18 or equinox 2018
This is my all time favorite independent show. Ride or die scholastic show is Ayala 2018’s “The Blessing”. whether or not you react to it it’s a must watch. the only show that wasn’t designed to be a tearjerker, that has ever made me cry is this one. it was just that well done.
For spocktober you should have a Spock drum tuned to only one note in any clips you splice together. So basically a snare feature but on a Spock drum(s) and it could be like one of those hardest feature videos but with a different title, like “Spocktober Special” if you wanted to do this for the last day you could name it “Spocktober Special; The Finale”
You should TOTALLY react to some of my schools past TIA shows. I know you were involved with Tournament Indoor Association so if you could just search up Cumberland Regional High School Indoor Finals Regional A then that would be awesome. I saw that you did TIA so chances are that you may have competed against my school! It would be really cool to check out a smaller group from a smaller program other than DCI or WGI. If you see this then thanks for reading!
There was a WGI PSW ensemble that did a zombie show a while back. I want to say somewhere in 2010-2013. The basses had a feature where they laid on the backs of other members while they crawled slowly across the floor
Hi EMCProductions, i finally had enough courage to stand up to my terrible teacher. I’m no longer a high school percussionists but I’m gonna be taking a while to relearn the right way
I am going to recommend Pulse of Liberty 2015 with their show "Macabre" I did the same show, except in marching band form (gary gilroy really steppin up his game here) I love the red costumes and their cool cymbal choreo. 10/10 show
I got to see this show when it happened at Finals. It was my only year marching, I played drumset in independant open class. Mystique def deserved to win but this should have been second. Any other year this would have won. This is still the first show I give to people who don't know what wgi is.
You should do a video on what its like being in a drumeline, what to do to prepare for drumeline, and what to do to prepare for a musical carrier. Like this video so Eric can see please. Thanks!
I’m thinking about auditioning for one of the USAF Bands after I graduate, I’m a percussionist, so any Air Force members out there have suggestions for which band I should audition for?
Idk if this is possible, but it'd be really cool if you could react to my high school's 2019 show for "No Tech November" because the show's theme was about putting down your electronics and stuff, the show was called "Disconnect" from John Glenn High School, and it was the show that got us to state for the first time in 13 years!
