Thank you for posting the video! I just got mine and I cannot wait to use it. Since you seem more experienced, it's my first box, I have two questions: 1) have you tried changing the placement of the lighting along the top? 2) Some of the backdrops are of different thickness. Would you know why that is? Thank you for your time and I wish you a rad Thursday.
Thank you! I have not tried changing the light strips along the top. I find these 2 strips give off a nice soft light when putting the diffusor cloth over them. I don't know why the backgrounds are of a different thickness other than they may be a different material. I've also used my own backgrounds that have patterns on them. Something else you can do is add a small LED light source coming in from the front. You can also use a reflector to brighten parts of the object. Wishing you a rad Thursday as well.
Yes, for us its the right size and well built. I've added a thin poster board underneath the white background to avoid bleed through. On occasion, I may also add a small reflector or two to brighten up certain areas of the item I'm photographing.
They look like a plastic material that is wrinkle resistant. I usually use the white with good results. Keep in mind you can also use other material that you can get at fabric or craft shops.
