Ja das Big Bear Bowie hat schon ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Es kommt zwar nicht auf 18 cm Klingenlänge, mit knapp 14 cm lässt sich aber auch schon gut arbeiten!

Hey! Thank you for your comment👋 In most of my videos about knives of the SGB Series I explicitly say that the knives are built in china. The blade of the knife is a German steel. That’s all that is being advertised. I am currently selling the Big Bear Bowie for under 90€. Most of the knives that are being handmade in Solingen are a lot more expensive. However, I think this is one of the biggest strengths of the SGB series. For less than 90 bucks I can buy a real puma knife. A well manufactured, well designed knife with a blade made from German cutlery steel. Personally I think its a great deal. If I want to, I can still go back later and buy a Puma Knife made in Solingen for upwards of 200€. These are of course better in every way, but the ratio between the price of the knife and what you get for it is awesome. I understand what you are saying. However i never felt that Puma ist trying to convince somebody that you get this awesome Solingenmade knife for a fraction of its normal price. We do not have all the SGB Models here in Germany, but we have the PUMA Ip Series. These knifes are produced in Spain. Again, not made in Germany. Most of the time with awesome steel and extremely well made. Quality control is made by Puma as well as the design. These knifes are not as expensive but they are often a very good choice. The world changed in the last 50 years. And so did the market. A a lot of new players entered the knife world an Puma had to react to it. It’s harder to survive if you only sell high end luxury knifes made in Germany. It could have worked. But Puma chose to go a different way and I am glad they did. This is just my opinion. I am still young. I did not know Puma in the 70s when they came out with a lot of their legendary designs. I like what they do with the SGB Series and the IP Series a lot. Hey, du wirst dir damit wahrscheinlich nur schwer deinen Bart rasieren können. Dafür gibts ja auch Rasiermesser. Aber ja, Puma liefert die Messer in einer sehr guten Gebrauchsschärfe. Die reicht auch aus, um zu rasieren. Danke für deinen Kommentar!
