Thanks for including that card explaining all the different flowers in the shoe. When it’s a much deeper story than “Stewie wore this colorway one time during a practice at UCONN” it’s always appreciated.

Puma really needs to take a page out of adidas playbook for traction pattern and stop doing the story telling. I knew from pictures that these were going to struggle on dust. The shoe itself looks great.

Completely agree. It may be formulaic but tried and true herringbone and good rubber is unmatched

Hi Allen, big fan here! I'm assuming you are of Filipino heritage as I am. I just would like to say that as far as I am concerned, you are a far better reviewer than Sammy from Sole Drop. You are more objective, your vocabulary is more expansive, better descriptions of shoes, you have have better graphics, and most of all, we can see you play with your montages of gym runs. Other people may say I am dissing on Sammy but he has not improved at all in the way he reviews shoes. The way he describes them is just too redundant. It's as if there is no point of comparison between shoes. He says, "it's good, but not that good". Like, how???😂😂😂 Call me a hater, but I'd rather call it out if we are to make improvements in the sneakerverse. Just saying.

Totally agree with your comment. Sammy seems to produce Videos just for the sake of posting crap on RU-vid. He doesn't seem to read at all the comments, which are very negative lately. I appreciate Allen and all the others for how professional they are!

Sammy is probably the worst shoe reviewer on RU-vid. He doesn’t even make sense when he talks. You’re spot with how he constantly contradicting himself (“good but not that good”). He is constantly doing that with every aspect of the shoe, he’ll say something like “the traction is top tier, but I did slide out pretty dangerously a couple times.” Like what?? Dangerously? If you slide out dangerously at all, it’s clearly not top tier. His presentation skills are just always too with his verbal tics (right? You know what I mean?”). His reviews are completely unreliable, I think only 13 year olds still watch him.

The Stewie 3s are super similar to the Kobe 8 Protro, down to the fact that they chose a stiff cushioning setup (in Nike's case, React) that doesn't seem like it'll be a hit with everyone. It's a lost opportunity for Puma, just like for Nike, that they don't offer replaceable or swappable drop-in midsoles in these shoes. Serious Player Only seems like the only company willing to take that "risk" right now (and I think it's altogether the opposite of a risk). Thanks for the review, Allen. All brands trying to emulate Kobes...not really a fan of all the unnecessary BS on the outsole...it would be better to have good performance. I hope Puma sticks with the All Pro Line, since it is a banger imho

@@frosty1947 if I specified *rubber* outsole it’s pretty obvious I’m talking about solid rubber, my dude. People tend to just say rubber or translucent instead of “solid rubber” and “translucent rubber,” this is the first time anyone has failed to understand what I meant when I said rubber. If I meant the translucent rubber then I would have said translucent, *obviously*. And if I meant the traction was bad overall then I wouldn’t have specified the word rubber because 99% of shoes have rubber outsoles. No one else is having trouble understanding except you.
