Threw out my topeak digital tyre gauge like yours and didnt use it that much over the years and its in landfill r.i.p. I am looking at the As pro with digital display thats a bit more expensive but will let you know how it goes good viseo safe riding fellow roadie.

🙈 don’t use the “R” word! I’m an Adventure Cyclist that happens to sometimes ride on tarmac 🙊 On a serious note thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video. I have recently converted my gravel bike to tubeless and the topeak digital gauge has came in very handy! Let me know how u get on with the one you are thinking on getting!

I think 300mAh is very poor ? I think my flatulence is a bit more ? Together with heat and not able to fully pump up 1 tyre ,I wouldn't bother ? You would need at least have confidence to pump up 3 tyres up to 100psi ? Or what's the point ?

Exactly my point. I mean it kinda defeats the purpose. In no way would i rely on this as my main pump out and about! The overheating is a concern as is the battery life. It claims it can do 2 tyres i couldn’t pump up one

I suspect your one is a faulty unit, because mine gets a 35mm gravel tyre upto 75psi no problem. It'll also get a 25mm road tyre upto 100psi...... agreed, it almost killed the battery.

There just isn't enough energy in a small lithium battery to pump up tyres. Too much volume of air and too high a pressure increase required. Just think how much of a workout you get pumping tyres by hand. It take a lot of energy! You can't get around physics. The best way to pump up tyres is with a hand/floor pump.
