And messy. I can't work with soft pastels due to the feel of them. I love the look but they just aren't for everyone.

THANK YOU!! These are the posts I enjoy most. I have add, and I am so easily distracted. in your live chats you are pretty much all over the place, and the painting slows to a crawl, even when I set the playback speed at 2.0, and I fall asleep. You hold my attention in these tutorials and If I miss something I can click back to the part I missed, and watch it again. THANK you! for posting the tutorials. Though I will probably never finish a piece using colored pencils. with or without blending powder, I am still learning a lot about building depth of field with layering

Ooooh nooo Lisa....your videos always make me want things....aaaah! Just saved up and bought the 120 Polychromos now this! You even said Powder Blender works best with Polychromos. It's ok... I thought the white on top of the main pumpkin looked nice, but I really loved how it looked after you added the blue.

I'm planning on soon purchasing colored pencil ground, powder blender, touch up texture, texture fixative and final fixative. I've used a burnisher and solvents. Excited to try a new application method.

It's a lot of fun, but be aware there is a bit of a learning curve to get used to it. I've seen where a few were frustrated because they expected it to work the same as they were used to. It took me 2 or 3 projects to really get the hang of. The more you use it the more you will like it :D

I bought 2 power blender but have not used it because found out you need certain kind of paper which i dont have, its pricey for me right now

I don't enjoy working in pastels (with the exception of pan pastels as a background for colored pencil). The pastels are too messy for my taste and I can't stand how they feel on my hands. I love how they look but they aren't a fit for me :)

Has anyone noticed colored pencils fading using sandpaper and textured fixative like she is here? The next day or even hours later, colors are lighter and look grittier. Any ideas? I’m SO bewildered. :(
