Intro: Ever since Don Flamenco lost his title, Carmen has dumped him for Little Mac. And Don Flamenco has shown absolute jealousy and rage over this so he has challenged Little Mac for his title to win back Carmen.
And they hired a pro spanish dub actor for his voice too XD He does Tom Tucker in Family Guy and Handsome Jack in Borderlands 2... among others. Very funny indeed.
Wow... Don really has come a looooooong way since his days on the NES. His fighting style is tricky to memorise and is also (for anyone who hasn't noticed yet...) incredibly similar to Mac's!! You dodge or block the incoming punch and strike back with your own punch!! What? Haven't you ever seen a black rose, Carmen my love?! (LOL)
When he fails a hook he says "Fallé!" which means "I failed!" When he fails the "Olé!" punch he says either "Bien visto" (Well seen/Good eye) or "Me has Pillao" which means "You got me." at 1:55 he does not fails the hook and he says "Toma!" which means "Take!/Take this!" When he blocks your punch after that he says "Espera!" in a high pitched voice, this means "wait!" and he says "Que hace?" which means "What are you doing?" before doing the hook he says "Mira!" which means "Look!" after his hair falls out he starts doing "ole" hooks, on the second one he says "Bien hecho" (good one). After that he swings his glove around before hitting you and he says "Mira esto!" (look at this!) at 3:54 he says "aqui!" (here!) and then Pero como... (but how?) or Será posible? (is this possible)
Intro: Don Flamenco returns. Once loved by many for his ability, Mac stole his spotlight, and Flamenco lost his fans. Frustrated about this, he ripped a poster of Mac that was hanging on a wall. He lifted his barbells to increase his muscle size. He has also made his Rose Flurry faster and adds a few extra hooks to it, too, at a point. His attack pattern is more aggresive. Can Mac go toe-to-toe now, or will he not be able to take more of the Don?
So if i have noticed right : If Mac tries to punch him, he will do a backhanded punch If Don misses a "Olé" Hook, he will follow with a "Mira" Uppercut ("Toro" Uppercut but much faster) If Don misses a "Carmen Mi Amor", he will follow with a backhanded punch If Don misses a "Toro" uppercut, he will follow with a fast "Olé" Hook After losing his toupee, he will throw fast "Olé" hooks randomly
if you are a fan of the series, than yes, this a good buy. The game sticks to the basics if the older games, making it feel like the others. it's very fun to find each character's weakness.
Actually, Carmen is the name of a French opera that have place in Spain, and tells the history of a woman called Carmen. Even the music played at Don Flamenco's images is part of the melody.
If you notice it says "full fight." I like to watch VOLCANIC because his videos shows all his opponent's moves, usually gets knocked down too to show their taunting while Mac recovers.
Traduction: Fallé=I failed, Toma=Take, espera=wait, casi=almost, mira esto=look this, aqui=here, pero como=but what, que pasa ¿quieres más?=What happens, you want more?, perfecto=perfect and ¿Será posible?=Is it possible?. That said Don Flamenco. Translated it for you.
Judging by how hard he hits i'll just give an educated guess as to what he's saying. "Carman? Mi amor" must mean... "I GOT ABOUT A TRUCKLOAD OF GREEN ASS-WHUP IN EACH PUNCH I THROW!" Seriously, though. This guy is pretty tough. He's roughly 10 times harder to whip than the old nes version.
Incorrect. Don's theme is actually a short bit from a song in "Carmen", a theater play set, naturally, in Spain. In this particular game, only Von Kaiser has the excerpt from the song RIDE of the Valkyries.
I remember seeing Title Defense Don Flamenco all the way back when he was initially confirmed via Game Informer. His Title Defense artwork was on display instead of his regular one.
It's fun to think that of all the fighters, Don Flamenco is probably the most technical. @MrBlakey13 said that he was the most like Little Mac. He dodges, he counters, and he relies on intricate combination strikes. If he only had a star punch....
I kinda feel bad for don he lost Carmen and does this to get her affection back and if he wins his rose becomes red but if he loses he probably lost Carmen forever I want to see what happened to him when he lost to Mac again
Carmen by Georges Bizet is actually the name of the song that plays while he is tearing off the poster of Mac. We don't know if he is actually referring to the song when he says "Carmen, mi amor".
Don Flamenco and Super Macho Man are ladies man's but not anymore because of Little Mac! but there getting revenge because the fans and the ladies like Little Mac! but Don's fight is hard and quicker in title defense but Super Macho Man fight and his title defense mod is pretty much the same of the fighting styles! but not Don Flamenco he's different!
That's a illegal move for two reasons 1. It's not performed by a clenched fist 2. It has Don showing his back, which isn't allow boxing as that's classed as throwing the match.
I have a strategy to beat him at about 1:50 in round 1 so to start use a punch to do his attack duck this stun for as long as you can than do the in which is hook jab jab repeat do this over and over until he is down when he gets up counter his uppercut with a left hook than when he is fully still use a punch and than block his attack counter for a star than repeat the infinite until he is down when he gets up counter his next uppercut with a left hook than he does his don rose flurry now for this to work you can’t duck any punches only dodge and the side he claps on is the side you need to dodge so dodge them all and don’t get hit after dodge all 5 hooks he does a taunt at that moment use all 3 stars for an instant knock down which is TKO
I figured out that if you dodge in the direction of his punches when he does the count/clap thing ("uno, dos, tres, etc.") if you manage to dodge all of them in the correct direction you get a star if you punch him afterward.
In real life this wouldn't be for two reasons • It doesn't come from a clenched fist • Upon him winding up the move, he show his back which isn't allow as this counts as throwing the match
Translations: Anda/Venga (come on), vamos (let's go), Toro (bull), Carmen mi amor (Carmen my love), Me has pillado (You caught me), Ole (bullfighter dodge), Espera (wait), Fallé (i missed), Toma (take this), Clase (classy), Me llaman don, don flamenco (they call me --), Qué pasa quieres mas? perfecto! (what's the matter, you want more? Perfect), Bien hecho (Good job), Mira esto (look at this), Aqui (here) Mira esto (look at this),Sera posible? (is it possible), ALL of them are spaniard phrases
To unlock LINK the second hidden caracter you need to win a 50 fights in last stand mode unlock all the stars in exhibtion mode and beat each caracter in chapionship mode atleast once regular and title defence. Good luck
1:10 Dodge right, left and right then Don sighs then punch him in the face for star power. later he does it quicker up to 5, he mostly does Left, right, left, left, right.
I just TKO'd him in Round 1 by getting stars from about everything he does and releasing when appropriate. Like 2:30 into round 1...what time did you get from your run?
I"VE GOT IT!!!! Carmen is really Carmen SanDiego. Think about it he always talks about her but NEVER sees her. It's like she's "running away" and "hiding" across the globe. And she's running away because Don Flamenco isn't popular enough for her, to do that he has to beat up a protagonist. In this case Mac. It makes perfect sense now.
in 2:59 says "mira" but in inglish is "look" in 3:01 says "toma" in inglish is "take!" after of that says "espera!" but in inglish is "wait" in 3:40 says "falle" in inglish is "i fail" in 3:42 says "viene" in inglis is "it comes" in 3:46 says "mira esto!" in inglish is "look this" in 3:53 says "aqui...pero como.." in inglish is "here...bot how.." ;)
When he does his "One, two, three" combo you can just dodge to either side to avoid the punches and afterwards he will get tired. Punch him in the gut for a star. Easier than ducking them all and then trying to get a star off the uppercut. All you have to do is memorize where the punches are coming from.
"Me has pillao" (You caught me) "¡Toro!" (Bull!) "Carmen, mi amor" (Carmen, my love) "Me llaman Don, Don Flamenco" (I'm called Don, Don Flamenco" "¡Mira esto!" (Look at this!) "¡Venga, venga! ¿Qué pasa, quieres más?" (Come on, come on! What's the matter, do you want more?) "¿Es que nunca has visto una rosa negra?" (Didn't you ever seen a black rose?)
Here's some Don Flamenco's lines that hasn't been translate. 1:56 "Toma" (Take) 2:00 "Casi" (Almost) 3:53 "Aquí" (Here) 3:54 "¿Pero como...?" (But how...?) I have translate a full Don Flamenco fight in the video from the user Lakitudude if someone is interesting
Carmen is not dead. U can see she on first Don Flamenco appearance, Don Flamenco give her his red rose, that blonde woman. However, black rose is mean vengeance, too. :)
When he misses, around 2:05 for example, I think he says "Casi" which would be "Almost" in English.

I'm from Mexico and I can tell you that languages evolve according to the place that they are spoken. The difference between our way of speaking spanish with yours is the same as the difference of a Brittish and an American. So, there's no a "correct" way to speak.
1:57 , right after he says Toro -"Take this!" 1:59 - 2:00, in order -"Wait!" -"What are you doing?" 2:59, right after "Ole!" -"Look!" 3:09, right before "What's the matter? Want some more?" -"Come on, come on!" Just filling in empty spots. I'll post more in a bit.
