Someone did recommend this, but by the end, you can hardly make out anything sound wise. Anyways, I hope you enjoy! I am also currently working on that other video I mentioned in my most recent post. Hopefully it will be out soon...
My favorite part about these high speed speedruns of yours is when you eventually get to Mr. Sandman's slow, menacing walk. When sped up enough, the BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM from his footsteps goes from intimidating to funny. Gets a chuckle out of me everytime.
Speed after Glass Joe: 156% Speed after Von Kaiser: 179% Speed after Disco Kid: 202% (219% if the punches in the intermission count, from here on out im gonna put a percentage for with and without intermission punches) Speed after King Hippo: 241%/259% Speed after first training cutscene: 259%/277% Speed after Piston Hondo: 281%/299%
It feels like at later points of the run, the crowd just sounds like TV Static. And the Mr Sandman cutscene where his punch transitions from Don to Macho looks very smooth thanks to the speed.
Here’s a dumb idea, STARTING from the end and going backwards in terms of editing, have a video where it is the fastest at the very beginning based on a random challenge, and as it slows down it goes so that at the very end, it ends up at normal speed
I wonder, would it be possible to beat punch out if the game got 1% faster for every punch you or the opponent landed? I guess the strategy would be to land as few punches as possible and get hit as few times as possible
