True fact: if you star punch Mr Sandman RIGHT as he starts his Dreamland combo, it can KO him. I tried it just for the heck of it and I was so shocked it worked.
@@Wesly124X You can also use it when he does his boo taunt,but it is easier if you just punch him after he says "afraid"? And use the star punch right after. Sandman will dodge your punch and try to use the Dreamland express,but the Star Punch will counter it for a K.O

Anyone else notice how Glass Joe didn't even look in pain when he was knocked out? He just looked annoyed, and he didn't even have marks on him when he was knocked out. He can sure handle some crap.

Water is the only "beverage" allowed in a boxing ring due to it being simple and no bad ingredients to hinder performance. Bald Bull: None for now. Super Macho Man: Jewelry. Loose attire like jewelry is not allowed. It could cut the wearer and be a hard spot. Clothesline. Any kind of attacks that are delivered on the side of the glove is illegal whereas they don't have any padding like the knuckles. Mr. Sandman: Slam. Slam attacks are executed at the palm of the fist and that area of the glove lacks padding.

I love how Mr. Sandman has some Mike Tyson touches built around him, like the height compared to Mac and the body structure... They couldn't get MT in this one, but they kinda recreated him using the closest thing the list of characters had...
@@gamergabe2994 Actually his FIRST appearence was in the original Punch-Out for arcade systems in 1983, where he was *Champion of the World* there... Of course, he had a more than obvious reappearance in NES Mike Tyson's Punch-Out but not as World Circuit Champion anymore... More like #1, before Super Macho Man... Kind of an unfair position, may I add... He's harder than Macho... And then Super Punch-Out in 1994 for the SNES as Major Circuit Champion... An odd decision just like Bald Bull as the Minor Circuit Champion... And in Wii Punch-Out he got his World Champ place back... And he destroyed Macho... Just saying...
i feel like despite how Glass Joe is brain dead easy to beat, Von Kaiser is probably the easiest in my opinion because all you need is a star punch after landing a quick stun when he begins to say "mommy"

I always feel underwhelmed by how fast Don Flamenco just loses randomly in neutral. It feels wrong. He’s the boss of the major circuit, and he goes down so abruptly. Also, I always appreciated how Mr. Sandman was handled. He’s being hit a bunch of times, and where does he protect? His face. It’s the kind of thing an actual boxer does. He wears his shorts decently high so that his belly button isn’t visible. In real life, it’s about low blows, but here, it’s just a part of his design and makes no difference on gameplay, but it was put there that way on purpose. I like that they treat him like an actual boxer. Every character in this game is expressive in their own ways, for most of it, it’s just funny jokes on stereotypes, but for Sandman, his way of being expressive is the purpose of the game: boxing. He deserves that champion belt he got from Macho Man.
Glass Joe and Piston Hondo are also treated like actual boxers, but Glass Joe is a very weak boxer while Piston Hondo is treated like a respectable boxer

If you're talking about Mike Tyson Punch out, then Great Tiger is easy. just block his speed attack. Also when he crouches to do an uppercut, just throw a hook at the direction he is in. He shifts left to right constantly and it will immediately get you 3 stars already.

This is confirmed in Smash as perfectly symmetrical characters like Mario and Kirby always face the screen, but Little Mac doesn't, because most of his attacks end with or use his right hand.
