I've been wanting to do this for awhile. I combined ALL of Soda Popinki's theme music and made it into a longer track with smooth transitions If a lot of people like this, I may do this with more characters. So let me know what ya think!
Kinda slow? Dude, he has BLINDING speed in Title Defense when you get to his later phases, and its VERY difficult to dodge by reaction. Also, his uppercuts take about one fifth of your health bar. And some of Macho's attacks are slow and delayed as shit.
@@sharpfang3660 No lie, popinski title defense made me take a break when I was younger. Had to wait 2-3 years to replay the game again and then I learned how to deal with him flawlessly. Even got the three stars out of it.
The beginning melody (0:00) is actually a reference to a song called 'Song of the Volga Boatmen', it's used a lot when Russians/Soviets are referenced.
You know what i thought of when i first saw this? I thought of 2 guys talking, 1 starts referencing a lot of soviets and then the other guy blasts that song and they both vaporize

I like how this boxer's theme sounds always so victorious! I mean, even when he gets knocked down or you beat him, the song itself sounds triumphant as heck almost like he doesn't feel bad about being defeated.

I'm not sure why, but this fight and music overall reminds me of the Battle of Stalingrad. The endurance and pure power that Soda has against you in the fight really seems like the power and endurance the Russians had during one of the greatest battles of World War 2. The music just shows that they would've never given up. They would've fought to every last man, woman, and even child if needed to save the motherland. Though I'm not Russian, it's still amazing.

Maybe an emphasis on percussion mixed with all-male choir?
They should put in a DLC in ssb4 so instead of Mac's wire forms, it could be skins of different fighters in Punchout!!, like Von Kaiser, Soda popinski, Don Flamenco, Mr. Sandman (obviously), Aran Ryan, And maybe Super Macho Man. I personally think it would be really cool

I use this for training, every cycle of the theme is a round, then time 1 minute, get back in there for another round, rinse repeat, really feels good.

Anyone have a link to a video that shows Soda being counted out? If he isn't getting up, there's a unique animation of Soda realizing he's ran out of soda pop, and he passes out in despair!
They got Little Mac's BMI a little wrong… it says he's 5"7 and weighs 107lbs I'm 5"7, and am a slim build, there's no way Mac has three times more muscle than I do and still weighs less. I reckon he's weigh about 125-135lbs
