Puncture Proofing My Mountain Bike 

These MTB tyres work on one of my bike for almost 5000km now and I never had any punctures and I just use them offroad. The thing is I had no puncture for 21.000km with any of my bikes, as there is always a Marathon mounted. Schwalbe is one of the most famous tyre brands worldwide and there is no other company to keep up in terms of puncture protection. The Marathons are legendary.

I would highly recommend getting a bottle of slime and putting that in your tyres - it works really well. We have been using it for as long as I can remember without issues both in bikes and wheelbarrows and it has saved the day time and time again. I can't recommend it enough. It essentially is a slime type liquid with fibres in it, you put half a bottle (get the right size for your application) in each tyre by taking out the inner tube valve inners, squirting it in then putting the valve back together and pump up the tyre. Then as you use the bike it is always coating the inside of the tyre. If you get a puncture it will pretty much instantly plug the hole. Or if you have a thorn in the tyre pull it out, give the wheel a spin and it plugs it almost instantly. You lose next to no air and can carry on on your way. It really is good stuff.
