Honestly, this chapter fleshed her our so much it kinds changed my opinion of her. Prior I thought she was just a slimy coward "fishy" ascendant, lol turns out, from her conception she was meant to assist mankind, but like a child left on their own she could only find the means to survive without realizing what her purpose was, she was such a precious lassy ;-;
Lamia's story might be not as brutal as the others, but it's the most depressing chapter I've ever read so far. It just hits on another level for me personally. I feel for this character. If you see her model in Codex in-game, she looks menacing as much as Gabriel. But from what the story told, she's still a kid mentally, she became a humanoid-hybrid in her pre-teen. It's just so sad, I couldn't articulate it properly, the story ain't gory, not teary, nor thrilling, but it smudges me with constant overburden and despair. This chapter also did a great job further introducing Vera to us. I now understand her in a more deeper level. My initial impression of her is just a sadistic bloodthirsty women. Turns out she almost have everything of what a Leader is. She's a f#cking FLAG that represents of something conquered. Yes conquering is out of the question, she's straight up that BANNER that marks something is dominated.
This track was what got me to try out P:GR in the first place, and the gameplay, character design, and story are what got me to stay! 😍Vanguard Sound are such a blessing to this game and are so incredibly talented. Please also release the incredible music for the PV trailers at some point; I can't get enough of their work! 😇🥰
The music is very good vss never failed to make good music, I also hope that lamia and that mask guy will be playable in future and *spoiler* Bambinata other teammates whose name I forget
Those are some hard cut-offs between parts, why not post it as a full track instead (like on the Vanguard SS channel)? Either way, loved the extended underwater on part 1, Lamia is easily top 3 for me amongst Narwhal and Hikari (i also love dust to death). Bring them all to Spotify, please~
I think kuro doing it for the content. If someone want to listen with no cut off their can watch on VSS channel. It Vanguard song btw, so they keep it cut off. I think it win-win solution for both Kuro and VSS
