As far as I remember, the PV does not go out of it way to target animals. Sure, animals and plants get caught up in it path at times, especially since Gabriel brought about the Red Tide, but otherwise, the PV is only interested in destroying humanity. This is seen with the Corrupted hunting down anything with human-level intelligence. I mean, the people living on Earth would have been screwed already if all animals get killed off. They wouldn't be able to hunt or fish otherwise.
I would pay to watch scenes like this between gameplay in the story, it’s so draining to read all that dialogue over weeks because I work full time and you can’t pause it and come back

Probably one of the worst English dubs out there (or at least in this decade). If we compare this to the Chinese and even the Japanese version, the English version really lacks the emotion, the English VA sounds like she was really bored doing this which is why she barley did for the bare minimum.
