So, for those not into PGR, Ishmael is the character that Changli's design was based on. Ishmael's been present in the story since chapter 13, so she's been anticipated for quite a while. For story reasons it's taken until 5th anniversary for her to come out, and we're now in the realm of god-tier characters with her arrival. The Nanami video was from the current patch and the Luna video was a new production for the JP release of Luna Oblivion. We'll be getting Luna most likely in January. We'll probably get more on Ishmael this coming week or next, whenever the beta opens. Can't wait to see what they cooked for her. I can only hope we get the level of dark PGR has in WuWa but it's a more lightheaded story by comparison.

I do think that wuwa is dark if we put our perspective into their experience the lament is kinda fucked up, it turns the dead into echoes that can mimic the dead as if mocking their deceased comrades or loved ones, it is aggressive so they don't differentiate anything and and if Im not wrong it feeds on the human emotions (?), I'm sure it'll get darker the more we learn from it heck might even have a chance it evolves if kuro goes the same route with the way lament works. The abomination in the lab, the overlord boss below the mines, the thundering Memphis and some of the creatures have a dark background. Its mostly in my opinion the darkness is a bit hidden in wuwa and its not openly shown that often and can be easily overlooked by most players unlike pgr wantonly shows how fked up the punishing virus can get

@@kaiden2876 yeah I can agree that it's dark to a degree and those examples are definitely subtle ways of showing it. It's just a different genre from PGR in a storytelling sense. Whereas PGR is in the middle of an apocalypse and trying to reclaim a world going through a metamorphosis, WuWa is long after the apocalypse where humans have adapted to life in their new world and rebuilt civilization. So the overtones and themes are vastly different. Rover has tackled everything with relative ease from the start of the game compared to PGR where everything's been a struggle and there's been countless losses to achieve any victory. Wanting WuWa to reach that level at some point is more what I'd like to see, Rover failing to stop the next Lament and all the repercussions it can bring, stuff like that.

Long story short, ppl were so hyped about Ishmael becoming a playable character just Kuro, announcing her banner image was enough to make everyone go CRAZY. Im also not exempt from getting a stupid smile on my face every time i think we'll be seeing her beta vids in a few days.

Well it took 13 chapters for the Red Tide (the real big bad in PGR) to show up before things got darker (relative to the main story at that point), so it's still early days in WuWa.

Nope, if you start now youll get few s ranks. Can even farm s ranks of the dorm system. We are close to some patches that will give more s rank selectors. They give Srank choices quite a lot too. During special events.

I stopped playing PGR, but went back to play it again, but the Wuwu released, and I been playing that WIth ZZZ on the side. That Bianca video was great.. Shes become even more beautiful. Her witch was my best character to get through conent (no.21 probably my favourit personality wise) SPOILERS below. Some spoilers at least. . . . . . . But the story took a big nose dive for me. I hated the whole supercomputer stuff, can simulate the future and says Humanity has no way of surviving. I want to so see Grey Raven prove it wrong. Computers are just 1s and 0s, they cnat think outside of a square.. I also hate Nanamis time travel bs. I was predicting Namani as a secret boss, but not some time travel/simulation crp. So yeah, I dont feel like I want to go back and play the story anymore. Like Ive lost interest. The whole begining was about retaking the earth from the punishing Virus and rebuild, and I was on board with that. A story we could look back on and say Gray Raven were our heros. Went through crisis, crisis and crisis. Change the course of the war and humanity. I feel like they lost the story now and yeah I heard the news about the tower acidently, which lessens my willpower to play even more. At least where I got up too. Last I played I think was the doll girl who dances. Balarina or something. Nothing to do with Gray Raven or the commandant at all.
