You can actually see it embedded at the top of the very first tier list he took a look at (2:44). That thing was ABSOLUTELY written by ChatGPT if it included a video going over how garbage PGR tier lists are.
Tiering PGR characters is very weird because of how the game is designed. Different game modes pose different challenges, meaning certain characters are good at one game mode but mediocre in another. It's also the type of tier-list; does it measure overall damage output, overall versatility or ease of use? What about Uns too, they are a completely different type of character. It all gets too muddled.
how do i say this.. i can say "yes and no" depends... yes if you are a meta player for example if you are a day 1 player you'll probably know what unit is the best and not like for example "alpha and stigmata" . alpha, shes still ok to burst down enemies .. it's just that stigmata literally powercrept her in form of damage, gameplay, burst .. any. pretty much all units have their own best situation
The only tier list I know of is: invest everything on Astral - 8kDP 6weapon resonated full 6memories resonated and hypertuned and leap. Beat the game :D I do have 1 team for each element but Astral is a good boy.
I’ve only been playing for what like a month maybe? And I’ve really noticed that if you build your team right no matter the characters, if you have the skill you’re I’ll out perform someone that just whales and doesn’t build things right lmao. I find that those are the ones that make these shocking tier lists

PGR dont need tier list cuz you need to build 3 unit to complete a team and you have to make the team for each element and what type of that unit too. Just build the unit who fit your team, so use smart dont waste, kek
I guess the only reason for playing changyu is if you want to do a Jojo reference but other than that, there are way better options unless if kuro somehow and someway decided to FINALLY buff him or give him a new frame that is actually comparable to the current ones we have today. But that's just copium. He could've been okay as an attacker but they had to make him as a fucking tank even he barely has any debuffs. Sorry for the rant
Well, if you don't have Glory. Who else you will gonna put in the ice team tank role? Well, I know his debuff and damage is trash. But hey, he is pretty fun to play, and sometime his stun QTE is pretty useful
@@arghost9798 The fact is that A ayla and even arguable B lucia make better ice tank roles than changyu unless hes high investment (like SSS with sig). His role as 4pc zu wenyuan (the ice set) is better suited to A ayla and B lucia since they have more hits in their QTE which can trigger zu wenyuan more reliably than changyu can. So yea, even his QTE is useless outside some niche PPC runs XD
@@ryanchong4372Once Kaleido is available in Global, the tank slot will hold DV, so Brilliance will no longer have the advantage over Changyu since you won't use the ice set anymore.
@mepmep619 and what makes you think that changyu would become better than ayla brilliance by then? theres no difference before and after kaleido, changyu will still be outclassed by a 100% phys tank frame 💀
