@@fredxu99No clue how Furina's kit works but Empyrea, when she released a year ago, and we didn't have Lee and Namecha, effectively WAS THE ENTIRE FIRE TEAM. She does everything, deals a shitton of AoE damage, has time stop, heals and gives fire damage buff when switched out
@raveelemental4928 Furina summons some minions that do really high amounts of constant damage, and her ult provides a giant teamwide buff that scales based on how much HP your team loses or gains. Only downside is that she drains HP, so you need a healer to make up for it, but she's like a DPS/Buffer mixed into one and on the most versatile element (Hydro) too, and considered one of the best universal support units in the game at the moment who also contributes a lot of damage. I say that she's like Empyrea because they're both kind of the "all-in-one" package of buffing and damage together. But Empyrea as the added benefit of being able to heal too.
as someone who just joined earlier this week, all these videos have been really helpful. i’m so glad you went over the 2 starter selectors because i’ve been struggling to see who i should pick, for the long term. i definitely try to pick fun units and characters i like, but i also want to do all content efficiently. thanks for this video!

One thing PGR could do is instead of having characters be relegated to QTE bots, have bosses with phases where swapping to a tank or a healer would be needed to move through that phase. They have such great characters it’s kind of frustrating that your overall damage will suffer if you swap.
I mean the no-swap rule only really counts for the competitive modes, Warzone and PPC. Anything outside of that is fair game. Alpha is also, so far in GLB, the only character with 100% uptime.
My only hesitation for picking Liv Empyria is a total lack of access to a fire tank. There's no A rank fire tank so forming a functional fire team feels like it would be difficult if you don't already have one.
its more like for the future choice, you can get Watanabe in the future and Lee from 100% anniversary banner or the standart banner selector. Until then tho Empyrea is a good temporary dps for fire stages i guess
@z27 an standard 6* selector is a thing where you can choose one character to pull from standard banner(Lee gonna be there) with a 100% rate up, its gonna relise on Lamia patch (august+-). And on the anniversary banner you can also chose a character to pull with a 100% rate up, but with an event tikets/black cards(its gonna be on Alise patch, somewhere on july i guess)
the sad or happy thing now is since vera for some time will be a QTE bot, you dont need to SS her anymore to cancel the end of her ult animation, in the future the lightning team will no longer be just a one (wo)man army, so vera is still a fine pick
Came back after abandoning PGR after about 2 weeks the first time around only because I want Acheron to release already in HSR. And since they're basically the same character down to the color scheme (during ults anyway) I figured why not? Also high ponytails are cute. Also also CW is like the chuuni ideal. White hair? Check. Different color eyes? Check. That glow when releasing her power? Check. Katana? Check. Sealed left hand? Check. Edgy? Check, check and check. It's absolutely hilarious how she hits every single point and how straight they played her design.

Nanami pulse is a very viable pick over luminance especially with alisa echo replacing liv luminance (assuming your getting Echo Sig) I wouldve prioritized luminance if this was balter patch, but it's not
I'm having trouble picking between Rosetta Rigor and Vera Garnet, I already have a functional lightning team with Alpha CW, Liv Lux and Chrome Archlight. I recently got Bianca Stigmata that I'm going to build, including Liv Luminence and I need a physical tank. I still don't know who to pick though because I want Garnet for my CW but I also need Rigor for my Bianca D:
im quite new, like 2...ok now its 3 months old acc. i managed to make dark team (luna vera no21) and a lightning team (cw,vera,liv) and recently bought alya from the shop and half way through getting selena from the perma event thingie. i literally have no other S rank that are good in current meta lmao. im planning to get no21 lightning and Qu ice in the future. So should i still try for liv empyrea considering my lack of fire dps or tank?
I have Liv Empyrea and Lucia Crimson Weave. I have Lucia decently built and have Liv Lux as support, so should I use Vera Garnet, or a character for Liv Emp? I’d like to have 2 teams by now, if at all possible, and am not sure how much of a boost adding Vera Garnet would be over trying to build a 2nd team

I def think so, you can snipe A rank Chrome Arklight with the 80% rate-up on the standard banner (blue tickets). Also be careful of the "i dont have any X element characters so i won't pick any" mindset cause if you go like that, you will never have that team lol Liv Emp is good at everything dps/sub-dps/support (even off element). While Garnet has a good substitute in Chrome Arklight, Liv Emp does not, as Sophia simply.. sucks
im so undecided between chrome glory to complete my ice team, getting vera for the lucia crimson weave i just pulled or getting a liv empyrea for whenever lee hyperreal comes back on a 100% rate up banner (especially since i already have a built and invested nanami starfarer) AAAAAA decisions,,, lovely vid btw !!

Well , i started playing lee hypereal patch ... rn i have the full meta phy team , and i was thinking of picking garnet to complete the meta lightning team , but now i think then rather then to pick garnet i should go with empyrea since i dont have a fire team ... i will be picking hypereal from the next free selector that we get in lamia patch ( free cause it literraly guarantess 100% on the basic rnd banner ) ... for ice , i can make do with my ss3 ayla and i have camu for dark ... so yeah , fire is the only thing im missing , so imma go with empyrea ... will build a team around them in the future

Bro, don't feel ashamed criticizing genshin. I'm a player of two years, and I agree that PGR is a MUCH fairer and better game. As for the topic of the video, I'm going for Liv: Emprea. Vera has been powercrept and will likely be free to get in the next few updates, and as a new player, I feel Liv's the best choice for the long run

Bro I got so lucky as a new player. Hit level 50 2day, got a free 10 pull on beginner banner, 37 pity then got kumai tenebrion (idk spelling) AND BIANCA STIGMATA IN ONE TEN PULL. Have a full physical meta team (liv luminescence, dint know bout free amplifier 😢, Rosetta, was saving until I got beginner character) Now I have a meta physical team, and lightning is ez af cuz pull on alpha, vera thro selector and liv lux. LIKE HOLY SHIT I STILL HAVENT COME OUT OF SHOCK. One prob, I don't have ss (will grind and since beginner not rlly req) but signature is imp for Bianca mostly and I have 6 star 4 Rosetta thro 6 star weapon selector thro beginner again. My only prob: getting alpha's weapon and cub (i rlly RLLY like the character) as well as a 5 star 4 vera. STILL SO DAMN HYPED...
About sig wepaon you don't have to be worried since it will permanently 80% chance, but I don't really recommend for new player to get the cub since we have many amazing characters coming. But again you do what you prefer. IIRC Cub is similar to debut character, they only get 100% during debut, afterwards it's going to be 80%
I might just get no. 21 cuz lightining and lamia cuz I have a kamui and vera. However peeps say liv emperya (again idk spelling) is a very good choice 4 d selector banner but she's mostly wanted in a fire meta team, and looking at d characters I have, I don't think shes worth it 4 my account (unless I pull wantanabe and get Lee on like another selector which won't come till like qu who is like an year away). My only dillema rn is 2 select liv or vera (might go w/ liv and build like Lee paleflame, kamui and liv as a sub dps but again I think u need her sig 4 sub dps) Idk I'll have a better look after 2-3 weeks when the selector actually comes and I have 2 choose. Judging from the way he flex his pull this way, and the way he types, i can judge this is a genshin player tired of their boring and ez game, baited by wuwa, didnt get selected to cbt2, and then trying pgr as a cope to train so they are not gonna look like complete ass when wuwa came out
Wuwa better add more moves to their characters, they would miss a lot. Or at least make those moved locked behind last leves of those characters, like a kind of ascension
Chrome for me since I'm currently investing my resources on my lightning team(CW, A Liv, Vera) getting chrome will help my coping ice team since I can't fully rotate as I can't invest in Ice

As a new player i think i will be going for vera garnet since i got luna laurel in my 40 pulls first banner than i got rosetta rigor i also got rosetta weapon from the selector and crimson abyss paired with luminance thats a team my dark team is almost complete with vera and luna just need 21 so im working on my lightning team since i got cw, edit:and her weapon going for cub now
I'm still debating on who to pick. I have a dark team (Luna, Rozen, no21) and lightning (CW, Vera, Lux). I also have Ember and Pulse so i guess Empyrea could be on tht team until i get a better one but i really dont want to waste resources on ember and pulse. I thought about Selena but she requires high investment or Chrome to go with Ayla then have Qu when she releases later. Any advice would be appreciated.
8:45 this isn't true if you have 21 at the same investment as Alpha....21 makes it possible for rotation again,even in CN, everyone uses rotation after 21 released
@ansoulblade2673 maybe you can afford the weapon bc the next patch will have a free character, which is hanying, so no one will be rolling, and following 21 the next 2 characters will be free as well, you can 100% get her weapon provided you dont get cucked on the 80%

@@dragnofs well, it depends on the content of each patch and how much black card they'll provide, also assuming you will hard pity everyting as well, but u kinda have to put in the scale what do you want afterall, i wont be rolling for watanabe for example
If I have no physical DPS other than Lucia Lotus, should I go for Crimson Abyss? All the other teams are set when it comes to supports and I have Alpha CW with Nanami Storm (my only built tank currently) though I can build Chrome Archlight once I have the resources. I'm planning on waiting for Lamia and Qu's global releases as the supports I have for them are doing good enough for now. Also, if I go for Crimson Abyss, it would free up the 100% rate up banner during Lamia's patch to get Hyperreal and then whatever the next S rank selector shows up I could go for Bianca Stigmata... I was originally planning on going for Garnet, but the more I think about it, the more I'm not sure as I really only have one meta DPS character who I just got.

Bro honestly getting anything other than garnet when you don’t have her but you have Lucia is kind of L. Everybody promoting the “ it’s your account it’s your choice don’t feel pressured to get her” is severely leading people in the wrong direction. You have alpha MAXIMIZE her and there’s no better character to do that with than Garnett and she’s gonna be free take advantage of it period.
@@asahii8409 Crimson Weave is what drew me to the game to begin with. So, you can bet your ass I'm dumping all resources and investment into her. Plus... It helps that I'm totally rizzed up by Vera at this point 🤣🤤

Depends in what else you have, but Luna is good with A rank Vera Rosen support. Selena you can get for free in the Recitativo event, but is equivalent in strength with Vera until SSS. If you got Crimson Weave, I'd suggest Garnet. Otherwise Empyrea.
I was wondering between Garnet and Rigor, but reached the chapter of Liv Empyrea and she captured my heart. Also, her gameplay absolutely slaps so that's a plus
I was about to go for Vera Garnet cuz I like her and thought she is absolutely needed for CW, but it seems like she isn't, so I guess I can get Liv, cuz I also like her the same, am a new player so only My lightning team is built😅
imo my throw in I would reverse the priority on plume and glory as ice picks if you have neither as Ayla is the primary Ice dps now so plume is technically already power crept and without glory your only other ice tank choice is changyu and he's well... changyu. Plus glory has still to crept. Just my 2 cents tho, Great Vid!

I already pulled Garnet sig and maxed it out before I realized how viable Arclight actually is so it’s too late for me, but I would have gone with Glory if I knew that back then.
I have most of the character in the selector except for Plume, Glory, and Selena I was thinking to get Plume for ice team but then those other character that i had is only S rank and it's gonna take a long time till i manage to SS rank them all The only SS rank i had now is Hyperreal and Stigmata, while i'm still farming to get SS rank on my CW So i'm stuck between choosing Plume or getting dupes to faster SS rank (if dupes then who first?)
I'm new to the game. just level 30+. This game did not made me feel bad for purchasing the monthly pass. It gave me a Lucia skin and her S rank sword which are so damn good-looking. I'm still getting used to the combat and quite enjoying it, tbh. I also got lucky getting Lucia Dawn yesterday. This game is truly hidden gem and everybody should give it a try. ps. this game plays great on a controller.

Ηonestly my first S rank selector I messed it up because i chose S rank nanami the fire debuffer. For my Lucia and saw that Lucia's fire damage is complete Rng. But thankfully on my second i chose Rosetta and i am going for the my physical team bianca zero, but i plan on changing bianca zero and put Bianca stigmata

I'm planing to all-in on Crimson Weave since she's the character that made me start this amazing game. Any suggestion on what to pick on the selector based on what I currently have ?
I wouldn’t skip Selena if you’re aiming for SSS to replace vera in case you have all other constructs like many do. Just my 2 cents. Agree with your other points.
this might be a bit of a silly question since im still pretty new but wouldnt vera garnet be a solid choice even now that CW is out? so you'd have a full lightning team? right now i have a CW, Liv Lux and i dont have a good 3rd lightning character so i've been thinking of just going for Vera. I guess, since I already have a dark team with Luna Laurel, picking up Plume would be good so I can start building an ice team? Or maybe just go for Liv Empyrea since it seems she can fit in a lot of team?
For meta i would recommend Liv anyway since you would need to clear an fire paincage/warzone somehow, and she can cope with that untill you get yourself an full fire team. She is not gonna be replaced at least for a year so you can safely invest resources into her, unlike Plume. But hey its your choice, pick who you like the most
as he said in the video, if you have CW you absolutely don't need Vera Garnet because she is only used to activate Einstaina memory which any character can do. i would go for Empyrea or Plume
