In my opinion putting down towels is horrible.. people go down at 5am and reserve them and never even go... that's when I steal their towels and turn them in for towel cards lol
We don’t like it either when people reserve them for the entire day regardless of if they’re using them or not. I wish hotels thought of a way to make it more democratic.

Hola, Karly :) nosotros no somos fiesteros y pudimos encontrar áreas el hotel tranquilas para relajarnos. Puedes ir con tranquilidad aunque sabiendo que habrá áreas en las que realmente el ambiente de fiesta es muy marcado.

I never let maids in my room once I get there,I put the "Do not disturb" sign on the door from day 1 to the last day. But I always tip them when I see them in the hall.
Maybe this souds silly, but I am really concerned about shoes, specially for a la carte restaurants. You need to take flip flops, crocs, nice shoes for dinner, shoes for sports, walking shoes, running shoes, shoes for excursions. Can't you get into a restaurant with a pair of Asics, for example? Isn't that more "elegant" than the hawaiian shirts or sorts caps some (US) tourists use?
Arrivecan and mask on planes are finally ending in canada at the end of September. I’ll be visiting punta cana after a along 6 years since the last time I was there. I can’t wait! Gonna go to Punta cana princess resort
We do notice this in all resorts; however, being local, we've never been offered any timeshares, so we have no experience being on that side of the equation. We would love it if you could comment on your experience, as it would be beneficial to other members of the community 😀
We've used Viator before, and it's solid. In the specific case of Punta Cana, we've noticed they have way too many options for tours. Before, they did a better job of hand-selecting the tours, which is why we started doing it on our own website www.nittygrittytravelers.com/puntacana where you can book high-quality Punta Cana tours 🙂
Thank you for the tips! I have been watching many videos. Where would you suggest to stay with a 1 year old and a 10 year old. I have been researching and was looking at Ocean El Faro, Royalton Bavaro Autograph, and the family club at grand bavaro princess. From the three you mentioned (we haven’t stayed at the Princess) I would pick the Royalton Bavaro which I believe your kids would love.
