Just got back Staff rude, hotel outdated, food is average at best, air conditioning is terrible I’d expected a hell of a lot more from the amount it costs to stay
We went in December of 22 and had a blast. On the way out, Paradise Pass (affiliated with the Resort) offered us a 50% discount on our next vacation deal that included a $1,000 credit for hotel activities. We confirmed in writing that golf was included in the credits. We booked it and went down again in march of 2023. When we checked in at the front desk we confirmed that the thousand dollar credit was there for resort activities, including Golf. We went to the golf course and they had no record of it but they said they were sure the hotel would apply the credit at check out. So we put the Golf to our hotel room and we played every day that week for five days. At the end of the week when we went to check out, the hotel credit was completely gone and they charged us an extra $1500 for golf that week. No matter who we tried to discuss this with we cannot get an apology or credit. if you try and call the hotel, you cannot get anybody their from a management standpoint to answer the phone. Nobody ever responded to the customer service complaints on the website contact page. the only phone call we ever received was from Paradise Pass offering us another discount if we booked another vacation. Very very disappointed with Hard Rock and will never, go to another property! 😢

Hi, I have booked a Junior Suite, do you recommend upgrading to premiun level? I have seen that premiun drinks are not included. What is considered a premiun drink? Main brands? Or more expensive brands? Thanks!
Usually premium drinks mean famous drink brands from the DR and international (nothing very expensive though). I would upgrade in the Bavaro Palace as the regular rooms are not that nice. We haven’t tried the premium level rooms but they should be better 🙂
Hi guys, I loved your videos I keep watching your videos all the time I have a quick question on the adult best only resort in Punta Cana Riu palace Macao people had complaint on TA about very high humidy in their room how was it when you were there ?
@@NittyGrittyTravelers Hmm it happen to me twice that the room was very humid and could feel the bed sheet almost damp Planet Hollywood Cancun and Bavaro Princess so I dont want that a third time to bad I really like the Riu Macao
Awesome video guys. You 2 are a great help and you deserve way more subscribers. You guys do a great honest breakdown on all the resorts I want to visit. I think I'm going to book a vacation at the Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana Hammock. Ranked #5 on your list. I like the food options and how you don't need reservations at the restaurants. After that, you guys convinced me to go check out Lopesan and Breathless 😁
Here's the main takeaway. Hotels misrepresent the gratuity and screw over their employees, and it's the customers job to not only pay the hotel the "all-inclusive" fee but also tip enough to make up for the hotels mistreatment of their workers. And if we don't tip, we are the bad guys.

Hola! We didn't get to experience it because we were beat but it was probably fun, Barceló is full of people and at night the party atmosphere on the family friendly side was vibrant =)
Stayed June 2-9. Got back yesterday. Food and service is horrible and a joke. All the employees act like they hate their jobs. Nittygrittytravelers are paid sponsors. Of course they say everything is perfect.
Thanks for sharing your experience as it helps other travelers plan their vacation better. You’re incorrect in claiming we were paid in any shape or form for our opinion of this resort. We paid 100% of our fare and owe nothing to no one.
so if i'm travelling in a group of 4, does only one of us have to fill it out the ticket, or should all 4 of us fill it out separately without stating that we are passengers of each other
If traveling together you only need one e-ticket. This means doing the airline check-in together. If you'll be arriving separately to the airport then it's best each person fill its own e-ticket.
Hands down Casa de Campo Resort has by far the best food. Idk what the hell he is trying to lie about. Hard Rock has it perks but Food is C+ or a Low B at best.
I’d have to agree been to Hard Rock multiple times and food if anything has gone downhill over the years with Ciao being one of the worst. I guess it really comes down to what your used too I’m Italian and from NY
They're right next to each other and you can walk to the Tides on the beach BUT you cannot access its premises. If you have friends in the Tides you can meet at the beach :)
