Id recommend replacing the blanket in the crate for pee pads since you're dog wont potty where the sleep so having the extra space for accidents would be good.
Highly recommend Chewy.com there some much cheaper then Pets Smart!!!! Oh and another thing is you should put in a divider because the kennel should be just big enough for the puppy to do a full cycle and if you have more space the puppy will learn to think he can pee in the kennel when he's older! Just a recommendation.
@@roisin1772 I did lol. I got a mini poodle instead of a maltipoo. His name is Sparky and I love him so much. I got him ealier than 2 months though. I have had him for 3 months now.
@@paulndingue1717 i have a mini poodle too they have tons of energy and remember poodles are duck hunters so they need to do stuff like agility ect mine is super hyper
I’m getting a puppy soon too !! I would consider getting a harness for walking because a collar can possible choke a small dog when walking . I love the stuff you got 😊😊
I agree with the Harness😂😂I'm getting a puppy soon and I read that their necks can be sensitive so a collar and leash for when you're walking isn't the best idea
I am getting a puppy on friday if you want to see pics she has an Instagram she is a miniature schnauzer and her name is raven her tags is @SchnauzingaroundwithRaven if you want to check it out
I already have a 3 year old boston terrier called rocky i love him so much my parents surprised me and my sister ❤️❤️Im also getting anothet puppy after corona is over !
She some advice I would give him like harder toys for teething so he knows how hard he’s biting and I wouldn’t give him milk bones until his teeth are all in so his teeth don’t break. :)
Get rid of the retractable leash and your pup doesn’t need a cage that big he/she only needs room to sleep. Not room to poop too. If anything you can just put a divider in the cage. Once he’s potty trained you can take the divider out
Danielle 1244 bu then the puppy’s neck will get tugged....., so what I recommend is getting a n extendable leash, but if the puppy is starting to pull you can make the extendable leash smaller
Eshniley Vanessa Leonce yeah, milkbone are the chips of the dog world. It personally gave my husky an ear infection. My guy got it as a Christmas gift.
Im getting a puppy in june! Im so excited! I love watching videos like these! We are going to pick one out on Friday. And then were picking him up in june!
First time getting a puppy in 2 days time 🤗 She’s an 8 week old Cavapoo..I’m excited and a bit nervous to be honest because I’m new to this 😬 Is it essential you have a crate for a puppy ?
Bruh i thought u have thousands of subscribers but someone decided to comment “no girl u got 82 subs i got you gurl” LIKE BRUH U DESERVE MORE LITERALLY!
They recommended a smaller crate Bc if you give a puppy to much room it gives them an option to make an accident in their “home” and puppy’s like small little den areas so if anyone was wondering about crates and is needing help to decide there’s a good reason to get a small one.
Congrats on the puppy but that crate is way too big. Maltipoo are considered toy to small breed. 36 in crate is what you would get for a whippet. The 24 or 22in would have been cheaper and more appropriately sized. Also having a too big crate will actually make potty training harder as they can mess and just move to the other side. That's why when you are crate training its recommended that you get the appropriate size.
also, just a little advice for u to keep ur puppy healthy and safe, biscuits aren't the best i suggest that you donate them to a shelter and get a one ingredient treat instead, it is SUPER SUPER healthy for ur dog and also you don't have to worry about any chemicals in them. get like a dehydrated and frozen one ingredient treat! another thing that i highly recommend is not feeding ur dog kibble, or at least try to not feed him as much,. raw fresh food is much more healthier and if you can't buy a raw frozen dog food you can easily make some in your home since kibble are SUPER HIGH in carb and very unhealthy
I'm getting a czecheslovakian wolfdog/german shepherd/malamute/husky mix pup in 2 weeks and I'm literally over the moon. Shopping for him is gonna be so fun.
