Puppy Training to Sit, Stay, and Early Retrieve at Feeding Time 

Puppy training starts the day we bring them home, and feeding times are a great opportunity to start building in some habits that will last a lifetime. At feeding, we will begin to teach the puppy to sit and stay with a bit of kibble at first, then quickly ween off of the food and transfer the reward to praise. We will also do some simple drills to get the dog to understand going out to get something and coming back, the start of early puppy retrieves.
