My personal experience FSU vs #2 Purdue on November 30th, 2021 at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana. Purdue smoked FSU 93-65.
Mackey Arena has a capacity of 14,240. It's a great venue to watch a college basketball game. Being so compact with benches means a few things. 1) There's not a bad seat in the house because it's not very tall, 2) you cram a ton of people in a small area, so the noise stays in. On top of that the tin roof is not very high up so noise bounces off of it. Overall I would've wished for a closer game so I really could've heard how loud it could be, but maybe next time.
