Hello everyone.
This is a video of my Muramasa Knight in action along with some info.
My total view of this is...
It's a great build to have fun with but nothing to take seriously.
PROS :
- Awesome crit rate. blam! BLAM! BLAM!
- High perfect Dodge
- High flee rate at higher levels
- Almost always crits at higher levels so no need for dex
- No curse from Muramasa because of the build BLevel+1
- Can level pretty much anywhere**
** - also a CON...will follow it up
CONS
- *EXPENSIVE* and boring to level at first. +Muramasa + full Morrigane's Set = about 170m on my server (Philippines Ragnarok Online - pRO - FREYA - Official Server)
- Misses a lot in the beginning because of 1 Dex
- Low flee rate at mid-levels. No Mocking Muffler/Manteau because you're using Morrigane's Manteau
- **Can level anywhere BUT needs to have elemental converters because you're only using Muramasa, so it can and will be expensive because elemental converters only last for 3 minutes. They are about 8-15k each on my server and I usually buy anywhere from 300-1000 of them per day. It adds up!
OVERALL :
Overall, I love this build. As you can see in this video, the crit rate is insane.
I will miss this Knight, though. After this one transcends, it's going to be a Pure Spiral Pierecer Lord Knight.

Yeah, I pointed that out already in the cons. -> Can level anywhere BUT needs to have elemental converters because you're only using Muramasa. At level 90, I was able to do over 1300+ crits in Ice Dungeon at 185 ASPD, so it's quite nice. Though, if you were an Agi/Str/Dex Knight, you'd probably do the same damage in normal attacks, but the speed isn't that fast.

Honestly, my usual build for leveling a Knight is 99 Agi, 70 Str, 1-40 Dex or 50 Luk (if I don't do Dex, I'll pump all Luk, depending on how serious I am with my new Knight), 20 Vit. Any left over stats goes to Str. I've made maybe...10 or so Knights, most have been in the level 90~ range and of course some are 99 LKs, but that's the usual build I go if I want to get to LK asap

Yo. 1 - It depends on what kind of Knight you want to be. All my Knights have been Agi/Dex or Agi/Luk based. If you're all about speed, I would suggest going Agi/Str/Dex. Usually I'd have 90-99 Agi, 60-80 Str, 40-60 Dex. If you're a tank, I'd suggest going Vit/Str/Dex 2 - You sell the drops that you get. I suggest you make two characters - your Knight and a Merchant. Gather a bunch of stuff with your Swordsman/Knight, put it in your storage. Make a merchant and Overcharge for profit

Actually, I was going for a 1 Str build lol, but I decided not to since I wouldn't have any room to carry pots. There was a video on KRO of a Knight doing a 1 Str Muramasa build. Fun times

I don't know why people take this build seriously. It's a "for fun" build - read the description. I transcended him to a Pure Spiral Pierce LK. I forgot the build since I haven't played RO in a long time, but it was like 80 Str, 60 Vit, 57 dex and something else...I really forgot lol

Interesting =). Im actually making a Knight similar. (Agi/Crit) But i get crit from equipment instead of from stats. Is actually lvl 85. Anyway nice job =)

I'm now playing a knight after tiring with my paladin, I'm looking to have an LK after 8 months break from RO. I think a viable build IMO is similar to a death hybrid build. Main stats: STr 80-99, AGi 70-90, Dex 40-70, Secondary stats: Int 1-20, Luk 1-30. Main skills: Normal attack (Two-Hand Quicken lvl4) Pierce (lvl 10 and spear mastery 10 only) BB or Brandish (up to you) I got spear mastery 10 so i can one-shot pierce HOs and Mino, and better Brandish damage, BB was giving me a headache...

There's one huge problem I have with going Str/Vit as a Knight...you don't level fast enough. What I do is I am Agi/Str or Agi/Dex as a Knight, then I become a Str/Vit as a Lord Knight. If you look at my description, this build is just for fun because I will be switching to a Str/Vit/Dex build for Spiral Pierce once I hit Lord Knight.

Yep, you are correct. Vit reduces the TIME and occurance rate of the curse - but it still happens. But honestly, with IP SinX, Acid Bombs, who honestly wants 100 Vit? With this LUK build, you are reducing the chance to ZERO. Meaning, it never happens and never will as long as you follow the build

I actually already had that build in mind, but no one was selling Vanberk card and my game time was already rotting away. And how exactly would you have 1500 attack, anyways? Vanberk Card : STR + 2, For 5 seconds Critical Rate + 100 when attacking to the enemies.

@froakentoken3 Muramasa is a sword. For a Crit Build Knight wherein to avoid curse your LUK should be BaseLevel+1 . and YT doesn't have HD back then.

Considering I was level 64 when this video was made, yes, I would figure it would be a bit slow. I wasn't showing the speed but more of the crits at even the lowest of levels.

Like I said, this is a for fun build. Most of my Knights going to LK were Str/Agi/Dex, mostly 90 Agi, 8x Str, 6x dex builds. I wanted to try out something different. With my build, with elemental converters, I crit for way over 1k constantly, while my Agi/str/dex builds don't even come close to that type of damage - don't get me wrong, Agi/Str builds do go over 1k damage, but the ASPD on the Muramasa makes the difference. But like I said, it's just for fun, anyways.

Hi, it means whatever your current level is, your LUK needs to be +1. So it means that if you are level 50, your LUK needs to be 51. If you are level 91, your LUK needs to 92 and so on. So if you are level 99, you need to have 100 LUK in total.

I'll just put this out here now, but I suggest you should make your LK into a Spiral Piercer. Spiral Pierce LK > any other LK builds, hands down. Or if you're going to be Agi LK, I suggest you at least get level 10 Pierce so you can spam Pierce if you're not going Spiral. LKs don't need much Agi due to the fact that they have Berserk and even with 1 Agi, they can still reach 190 ASPD (max)

Nope, you're quite wrong. Evil Druid card doesn't nullify the effect, sadly :(

Haha, ok. The build isn't bad, but like I said, it's not something to take seriously. If I had a Vanberk card, it would more than likely go to my Whitesmith if I ever get like a Heart Breaker or something

I think you mean "Want to PVP against me?" Sure, I guess...but I haven't played RO in a long time...I actually never got this character to 99...only to 97 or so. Maybe one day when I'm day and have time, I'll level it to 99 lol.

hmm i have 80 agility 30 luck 70 strength which is currently increasing 20 vitality and 36 dex which i will make to 40 and then the rest if any into luck i have Morrigane's equipped and cared +10 bastard sword i crit every 3rd hit right now, hardly miss and my speed is decent i can also stand up to any recommended lvling spot for vitality knights, im lvl 86 and im hitting harder then that with better critical's on Grand peco peco's and Geographers, and i can easily farm turtle island...

far more than 8k with edow, but i like 99 VIT 47 INT and the rest to DEX. =D

The formula to evade the Muramasa curse effect is that you need +1 LUK over your base level. Meaning, if you are level 5, you need 6 total LUK. Or if you're level 55, you need 56 total LUK. My build adds up to 100 LUK - because max level is 99 (99+1 = 100)

Dopple is not viable IMO, 'cause you lose a card slot that could give you 20% race or 15% size advantage for more aspd., and whenever you want more aspd you will be dependent on weapon only. Also dopple is really hard to get on iRO, where I play!

Yeah, that actually looks like one of my older builds. But I really suggest you get at least 20 Vit, just for the extra healing pots and just some added protection. Not to mention, the job bonus gives you +10 Vit, so you'll have 20+10 - even better. I've never had a Doppelganger card, but if you have a Doppel, I suggest you only go 90 Agi, put the rest of the points in Str or up your Dex

Yes, Crit never misses so you never need Dex. I already leveled an Agi/Dex Knight and I would still miss, but once you have enough Crit (70+), you almost never miss because of your high crit rate. Platinum Shotel is nice, but it's 1 Handed, so no 2 Hand Quicken :(

You can fix the curse problem, just carry holy water. I run 188 atk spd and curse rarely is a problem. 100 total luk is a waste of other valuable stats :-P

Hmmn. 2 words. Vanberk Card. -I use it on Demon tkm. atk spd 189-190 I would upload a vid..but just imagine about 20 or more crits going off within 5 seconds. =]

Are you blind? 99 agi is useless, the knight could not even kill 1 agriope without using pots. Defeats the purpose of agi knight. Plus the damage is low, so slower killing time
