Surgery was on Friday, and I can’t tell you how much I can’t wait to get some real food in me lol. The last 2 days have been pretty rough, the gas is REAL! Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal. Thanks for posting!
I had a dream last night that I went to subway and had some flat bread in my hand. I tell the clerk “oh I’m sorry I can’t eat this” and proceed to take a huge bite. I immediately spit the bread out and woke up but damn lol 😂
It is not easy, my journey was not this easy! One thing I’ve learned is, this journey is PERSONAL! What you go through isn’t what someone else will experience
Tomorrow is my 2 week post-op which is July 11, 2024. And I can’t wait to try this. I’m so ready to eat something with some consistency. Thank you so much for this video.
Awww congratulations on having your surgery! I know the feeling this was my favorite at that stage and if you want to get even more protein instead of using ricotta get cottage instead and blend it up… Let me know how it turns out 🤗🙏🏽
I can’t wait to make that! I have all the ingredients but I’m still too sore to do that much cooking yet. Looks so good! I’m glad my taste buds are still the same so far, 5 days post RNY.

I will be 3 wks tomorrow post op Revision from sleeve to RNY. Plus had an adhesion removal surgery that took 1 hr to remove all my adhesions from a bad sleeve surgery that had me airlifed and I had a hiatal hernia repair.. 4 hr surgery.. yay..lol Had to do revision due to on verge of esophageal cancer due to GERDS. 😞 ANYWHO! I had some mashed avocado in my 2 oz container.. pain the whole day.. scared to eat. I can do sf pudding cause its slippery but mashed p's have to be very mushy and wet otheriwise i get stuck. I too am mostly pureed soups and yogurts... will try this next week Thank you... also any tips will soooo appreciate it

I have a week of clear liquids and start full liquids on Tuesday I can’t believe I’m looking forward to going back to protein shakes but water hurts going down and I don’t really like the taste of the protein water! Your meal looks really good but I’m not a fan of Ricotta cheese but it’s nice to know I’m not limited to baby food when I get to the puréed stage.
Happyscrapper! I don't like the protein water either post op before surgery I didn't mind them. You taste buds change so much she surgery.. I have a few other puree foods I'm uploading soon hopefully there's something you'd love 😉 Hope your doing well 🙌🏽
Shauna Chana thank you I can’t wait to view them! I was weak and tried to dilute some instant potatoes with some vegetable stock and now my heart is racing! Dumbing syndromes is real I’m trying not to be depressed about my bad choice!
Aw I'm sorry, it will get better. ❤️ Maybe you should try some unflavored whey powder you can take a can of chicken noodle soup strain out the noodles add some water and unflavored whey and see how you tolerate that.
I have a quick question. I weighed 287 and after 4 day pre op I weighed 280. I came home from hospital and I weighed 292!! Ugh I know all the fluids they pumped into me BUT do I count the 292 as my highest weight now since I had to lose 12lbs of it before I could lose my own weight. Currently 263 4 wks out exactly
Yes it definitely can be.. I actually made it with ricotta that one time and every time after I’ve done cottage cheese.. I just pulse it for a second to get the lumps out a little lol 😆 Much healthier and more protein!!
