Let's be honest he's probably gonna return. The biggest problem on the Ban team is the shitty Arthur cards

Ban is still my main team but mostly because it was fairly f2p friendly. Terry and ban are 1/6 but they still help me climb. The new estarosa is a pain though.

Ban had a very good run, he's probably the best aged dps in the game

I didn't lose to Ban that often when he was meta, but now he's just an easy victory when you face him, imo. So many units just straight up slaughter him now.

I think the main thing is that Ban's team never really... changed. There's only a single difference in his team between now and last year, and that's Terry. Compare this to Goddess teams which now have Bloody Liz and the Covenant Archangels, the Demon Team finally being able to exert offensive pressure with Estarossa, Unknowns getting the new (+old but also still new) Slime units, Ban never saw changes of such magnitude. His game plan is, was, and seemingly always will be Arthur and Twigo trying to allow the team to sponge everything. However, he's running two units that may not contribute enough, whereas other teams don't usually have to run these "dead units" and can also still go first.

i prefer red liz in the back with the holy relic over twigo, only problem is when they have a recovery block card.

no twigo is diff the problem on the ban team, his cc is way to ass if they get a back unit with the same passive but actually good cc they would be fine

He'll get meta again when the lvl goes up and the holy relics can be evolved to better version and you can upgrade their passive

If it would help, i think a numbered tier system would help you a lot in defining teams. For instance, a tier 1 team would be considered “meta” so long as it has other tier 1 competitors (nothing comparable would be a tier 0 deck) while tier 2 would be considered rogue/unique but strong teams that just lose to 1/2 of the meta teams. Anything below tier 2 is pretty much just assembled nonsense or teams that would be good if they weren’t power creeped to hell

I mean - if you rush Bans ult you still win 299%. Especially if you have max ult level with all of the field buffs flying around these days

That's the problem with Ban. He gets cucked by not getting cards especiallu when twigo enters the field.

The only time lose against ban is when my opponent ult rush that I kill the Arthur but then comes stupid ass twigo with his taunt.

I still occasionally lose to his team but it's much less often; I remember eye rolling and contemplating dropping out every time I saw his team when this team was dominant

Weakness to bans team is arthur. He needs a replacement unit than has actual usable cards. Not that 1 turn taunt or crappy aoe

There's still a problem with the current meta in my opinion at least. Yes, there are more varieties of teams currently, but the units are so strong that it depends toooo much on cc. If you get out cc-ed [without wanting to go second] you 80% lost the match and it's not that much more enjoyable than when Ban was meta, especially for F2P.

I still run ban team on global to this day… because I don’t have Ult rush team maxed out or Blue Estarossa team maxed out. I don’t play much pvp been on the grind to get every bird relic.

Game 1: fail play. Rush Ban Ult turn 1 would have been the way, he couldn't have rushed melli Ult. Of course he'd taken away the Ult but no problem drop Arthur stance and move card.

i did use ban only when he came out i had the whole team but never got into building him using him and playing against him was a drag so i just used his tokens to 6/6 other fest units
