I think what's so difficult is that GI's bonus turn from someone getting six stacks of purge only happens the FIRST time that toon gets six stacks of purge. So if you don't kill Yoda with that first bonus turn, you never get another one, and it's much more difficult to co-ordinate the Torture/six stacks/triple attack. I just got him back to six stacks (my 7th attempt, almost four hours in), but didn't get a bonus turn so couldn't kill him.
I only unlocked Reva about a week ago, and got her to R4 this past weekend. I've been trying over and over again with Reva lead, and would usually lose someone (typical GI) at about wave 4-5. I tried again, with Reva lead, 4 times today alone. After watching this video, I changed my mods on GI and used him (R8), reva (R4), 5, 7, and 8 (All R7), and beat the entire thing in one go. Reva never even lost hatred!
I give up on CT3. I've tried a dozen times over the last 2 months, and each attempt takes 30 minutes of manual gameplay to get wiped on stage 5. I even pulled all stops on remodding. I can never get torture, 7th sister's cleanse/6 purges on GMY lined up together. They take 15 thousand turns between every one of mine and I can't kill GMY fast enough before torture is cleansed, he's healed, and taunt is up. Not to mention the one-time bonus turn is lost. I'm stopping now before I throw my phone across the street.
Thank you for saving me the trouble of typing EXACTLY this. I never thought there would be a fight in this game worse than the Proving Grounds fight for TIE Interceptor shards, but this is it.
Seems like this event was changed some since you made this video. In Phase 5, Shaak Ti and Jedi Guardian keep gaining taunt now and I noticed in the video they don't gain taunt once. Also, the Jedi seem a bit faster for whatever reason. GMY is also hitting extremely hard - around 100k damage non-crit without buffs, and near 200k with buffs on (and much harder when he crits
@@luckypunch89 Against's Bit's advice, I just tried using Eighth Brother instead of Second Sister and managed to get through the fight. In phase 5 I focused on killing Shaak Ti first to stop her cleansing and it actually went surprisingly smooth. Try to space out Eighth Brother's grenade skill that blinds and Seventh Sister's Foresight which will help you mitigate a lot of damage! Eighth Brother's 2nd special is also fantastic, especially if you can line it up after GI's Torture Hope this helps some!
I'm in the same boat as you, been playing a few rounds and keep losing the battle. Extremely frustrating with the time it takes to get to that point. Mods are good too, R7...

I swapped out 9th sister with Reva, the extra revive helps survive yoda. I stacked offense on both GI and Reva. Her AOE and armor shred can pack a punch!
Could you please show us the damage stat when you show us the character stats? It's useful when trying to get the same kind of stats you use. Thanks for all your videos !
@@Bitdynasty No. They definitely changed game play... I passed Yoda, then other nonsense things happened. Everytime, after a while, they makes harder.
Doesn’t work for me :( - such a waste in 5th wave. 13 stacks on GI, modded better than yours - all specials reset. Nada - Yoda moos the floor with r7 167k prot on 9th :( - bubye… 7 times.
@@Bitdynasty tell me something I don’t know - I tried following the speed guide from Gerbil and failed but then I saw yours: yours usually is spot on. Gerbil suggested high stacks on 2nd and only offense set on her, the rest - speeds. But man, this is worse than 4th wave Teebo.
It was greatly helpful until wave 6. I lost 9th in wave 6 because I couldn't get around gk taunt fast enough. CAT didn't need the instant defeat to still cause me a lot of problems. I think maybe if emphasized that we do still need to get her out before she takes too many turns that may have helped.
Honestly, I give up. I’ve played at least 100 battles at this point, and have only gotten past wave 5 twice. And lost ninth sister each time. The problem is the RNG factor is so high here. Even with mods and relics, you have to get RNG perfect. Which you did in your video. How many attempts did you do?
R7 on this team is a waste of time and resources. They're a bad team at best, okay with Reva and only good with Reva in grand arena with her omi. Not worth to R7 for the assault battle without reva, considering its rewards.
Thanks for this. Unfortunately it does not work at R5, so a bit of patience, getting them to R7 and hopefully. I have to think whether it’s worth it getting them to R7, no one in my guild has GI so Third Sister seems far away
Literally not working for me, this is literally just RNG and this sucks. Not the video, this game sucks. It takes like an hour to get to wave 5 and im so tired of spending hours on this.
