Am I missing something?? They sound great to me! I have seen Purity Ring live and their show was out of this world. Megan does a fantastic job vocally. I don't understand where this "boring" concept is coming from....their music is very subdued and entrancing, I wouldn't expect Megan to be thrashing about and making a scene. Their performance fits the music style perfectly in my opinion.
LOVE Purity Ring, but I feel that for live performances, they should explicity inform venues that they will not perform in day light. Live, music like this NEEDS a light show, it adds to the experience. Either way, they sound incredible and Megan is just so intoxicating to listen to and watch :)
i just think it is funny that the worse thing the haters can come up with is the superficial fact that she isn't as thin as most mainstream female artists.
Ikaika Arnado Not to be obstinate, but while I respect them, and love their performance style and artistry, if I had the choice to go to two different concerts, for example this or another similar trance type band, or a rock concert with lots of fun sing-along type songs, for the same price, I would choose the rock concert 4/5 times. I love that they perform their beautiful music, and they are incredible artists, but concert-wise, personally I would enjoy something more up-beat and fun to sing along with. Provided we aren't talking about classical music, here. I am only referring to outdoor type concerts with amplifiers and such.
She's frickin' cool. So's her voice.I LIKE watching her perform.Beats the frickin' hell out of yet another run-the-mill barbie doll riding her one pop hit on the road to oblivion......
I got here through a playlist of Katy Perry who recommends this; what weird people call this beautiful woman just fat (?) What? Id give anything to go out with her!! And it's a music video - there's music in it, that's what it is about!
I love how they change it so much live. Its more entertaining than straight sounds from the album. I saw them back in March (i think) in Knoxville with Neon Indian. They stole the fucking show!
She's so pretty :3 , i love her music , seems like the only music i listen to now -a-days, oh yahhh shes not fat!, Shes fucking adorable( i would so kiss her) x3
How anyone can hate on Corin is amazing. Why? Because she might not fit the profile of.......??? If you classify Purity Ring as electronic, then her voice fits perfectly. I just see them as a great act. Period. Wish I could see them live. To the poster, thank you for a great vid.
The funny thing about the trolls making comments about her weight on here, is that they probably brag about being a troll to their friends (Most of who have know idea what a troll is), the problem is these same trolls lie and tell their friends they where in the military, and they have a studio apartment, when they acytually never followed through with anything in their lives including high school, and they live in their parents basement, where their mom still does their laundry.
I love Purity Ring, but all the videos I've seen of live performances her voice sound really quiet, maybe the audio is just bad? If anyone here has been to see them is her voice actually like this live? I swear you wouldn't be able to hear anything past the front row
Brownlkirs They are phenomenal live! It's the recording, I promise. And this crowd does not do them justice at all. Albeit this is an older video of them, I saw them 2015 and their stage presence has grown so much since then. Love em!
Nice video, thanks for sharing ... On another note, what is the deal with people going nuts over Purity Ring gaining some popularity? M83 became popular with their last album and I don't see them crapping out. You don't see that with Tame Impala either. That's just to name a few. If you're trying to say that you don't want to band to make more money, you're noots. If they change their music for the worst, then stop listening.
So what if she isn't a size 0? Just because she doesn't suffer from bulemia doesn't mean her music isn't the shit! Also, I'd les out with her, and I'm straight.
