Don’t beat yourself up, I messed up a 2ft x 4ft painting last week. 😭 So much waisted paint!!! Your painting is great!!! You are one of my favorite artists to watch, I really like your style! 💜
I'm pretty new to acrylic pouring, maybe 6 months at it. Last night I did a painting that was GORGEOUS; the first ever that I was perfectly hapoy with, right from the get go. However...I was putting away left over paints and dropped a paint container on the wet painting, totally ruining it. But I thought I could fix it, so I just scraped the ruined areas and redid those spots. It wasn't as pretty as the original, but still very nice. Then this morning, I was checking on it, and some sort of dang little flying insect had gotten on it and wallowed all over! I was heartsick! Now I've just scraped the whole mess and will try again when I'm in better spirits. Thanks for letting us see that you're human too!
Oh no!! One time I had a painting fall off a wall and land right in the middle of a painting that was drying below it. I ruined 2 paintings at once. Ugh!!
It is still very beautiful and delicate looking, I love those colors together!! If you had never told us your mistake with the paint slip we would have never known!!! It is still a very beautiful piece Becca and I enjoyed watching you create it and as always You created beautiful work!!!
This looks fine to me! Even that bellybutton looks ok😂😂 it takes a good person to share when things go wrong. I have too many ! I don’t mind too much just wish things turned out better. But my hubby says it’s fine practice is all you need and most importantly you love doing it.😍😍🥰❤️🐶👏🏼👏🏼🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you for showing us the oopsie, i love your work. I have a question (if you can answer, with you knowing the ingredients). Before I take Olga's course (i absolutely love her work, been watching her videos for a while now) I need to know how expensive the products are, if I can even afford them, plus the course. ) Thank you for being honest. 🙂
Yes, of course. I have been trying to figure out how to calculate the difference in cost between Olga’s recipe and floetrol. It is difficult to figure out because the recipe is mixed so differently. But to do my best to answer your question, I would say the course plus the supplies (assuming you already have paint) would be approximately $200-$225 (if you live in the US. I do mot know exactly what the cost is in other countries. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost of her supplies were, if that helps!
@beccaharkinsart It does help, I pretty much have have everything tha everyone uses, the floetrol, house paint, behr 8300, poly, gas 800. You nolame it, (so many recipes out there) just didn't know if her ingredients were more expensive than what I buy now. Thanks again
Oh honey… that has happened to me before. I came back to it and it looked like ‘mush’! I was gutted as thought my original composition was spot on! Hey ho. Lovely colour combination though ❤
Thankyou for sharing one of your oopsie moments with us, it does make me feel that I can embrace them when they happen and try again. I think it looks very pretty!
