I died with 99 coins on freezeflame. I was like fuck this I am doing this as the last star in the game. Then I played sea slide galaxy and died with all coins, and I was like nevermind then. Reached 120 stars today. Got those two purple comets as the last ones

I just replayed Luigi's pruple coin mission... I truly don't understand how I found that level hard. Now the purple coins of Battlerock galaxy and Dreadnought galaxy is where the real challenge is.
I don't think I can count the times I died trying to get the coins in the Luigi-shaped level, but I remember that, despite all the frustrations, I kept trying just because of how much I loved this theme.
@@arleygamer245 I loved that game man, that’s where I first heard galaxy music. One of the best games I’ve played back then. I never played 64, so I saw 63 and was like “woah that’s cool” I think the games still playable.
@@antihanzo7575 My first time hearing Mario galaxy music was in Mario 63. First time hearing Sunshine, galaxy, and most Wii and GameCube Mario games. 64 as well.
@@AIRYDARIANDELOSSANTOSGUTIERREZ Super Mario Galaxy is one of my all-time favorite games; I met him when I was 8 years old, my cousin invited me to his house to play with his Wii and I tell you that we got addicted until the night getting most of the stars, and when he touched the star with the purple coins my cousin couldn't complete it, but After many attempts, I achieved it and felt enormous satisfaction, plus the music is great.

I think im the only person on the planet who's association with this song is neither the game nor a random youtube video but a particular level in Super Mario 63 I used to play as a kid when my only games were on emulators

Toy Time galaxy Purple commet was my last star to collect my last star so I can have the full 120. It took me 2 months and listening to this I still remember the pain.
I don't care what anyone says by far the hardest star in the whole game is dreadnaught purple coins with luigi. Toy time is not that hard if you are good at route planning. Where dreadnought you literally have to be 100% PERFECT one mistake and you might as well just fall off the platform and start all over. Not to mention the changing gravity makes it so much more difficult than battlerock, it can really mess with your depth perception and ability to control Luigi
It truly says something about the fact that if you enjoy a game enough, its frustrating difficulty diminishes. I adore the music, aesthetic, and physics engine in Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, so even when things got tough, I still enjoyed myself, and because of that, I fully finished both games 100%.
I really want this song Purple Coins to be used in the Super Mario Galaxy 1, 2 SNES romhack from Super Mario World game. It wouldn't be complete without the Purple Coins song.
