We used to have that vacuum. Then we bought our first Dyson. I’ve missed that vac ever since. Now we have a Shark lift away. It works really well for all the sand and dust we have in Colorado, but I’ll be on the lookout for another one of these machines on the free pages! Edited to add the Shark model we have does GREAT with hair. Doesn’t get tangled with my hair, or our two Shih Tzu’s hair. 😊
Wow that turned out better than I thought. Without you fixing the self propelled, it would probably be a pain to push the machine. Even the person who is selling this same machine to me said it’s really heavy. I don’t think this would be a machine to use on stairs because of the weight, but definitely a great machine for cleaning carpets and bare floors.
I now have 3 and they are reliable over 12-15 years with minor maintenance. None have toasted motors yet. All needed cleaning and belts. One was clearly abused, but is now fixed.
That works amazing, very smooth, and honestly sounds better than the Anniversary version (I attribute that to the older motor design that doesn't screech as loud), and performance wise, I'm amazed at how this had higher WHCC totals over the Anniversary considering it's almost nearly the same vacuum in design, just with a few changes. And your remark about the dirt finder feature not detecting the dirt, that sounds more like the feature just proving itself to be a big gimmick for marketing reasons, I do like how it gives the general consumer the state of mind that the vacuum is in fact working and doing its job, but usually people like us that work around with many others knowing how well other vacuums perform over others, we've learned not to trust this feature too much (at least, I haven't).
You might be right, your carpet is so clean the dirty light might not come on. But you still might want to clean the sensor. When the sensor is dirty, the clean light stays on ironically 😆
@@oldcrankman6164 well, people who obtain expensive vacuums nearly free will always like them. Back in 2018, I nabbed a complete Kirby Sentria 1 with all the accessories for $25. 🤣
