GONE TOO SOON was staged at The Lyric @ Gold Reef City on 20 & 21 October 2018.
The show paid tribute to a selection of those local and international iconic music legends who left us way too soon, but who live on through their timeless hits.
The production was produced by The CoLab Network and staged in memory of Matthew Stewardson and Gugu Zulu.
Purple Rain - the popular Prince hit - was performed by Joseph Clark, in tribute to the legend who left us on 21 April 2016.
Backed by the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, conducted by Eddie Clayton, with David Cousins on piano.
Backing Vocals by Born To Perform artists; Yahto Kraft, John Tsenoli, Zinah Rose Msimang, Marianthe Panas, Siyolise Mkondweni, Rachel Games and Tylo Venter.
