Set aside one hour a day to make art, any type. After a month it will be habit and you will drastically increase your skill. Family and friends will buy something from you and now you're a professional. I love this channel. Tim Packer has helped a lot of people. He's the Dave Ramsey of the art world. My favorite books (for learning about art): - Art and Fear by David Bayles - How To Be An Artist by Jerry Saltz - Great Fighter Jets of the Galaxy 1 by Tim Gibson
I think your teaching on composition is excellent - I would like more focus on the "Unique Voice" - that art that stops people in their tracks - yes - I'd love to do that.
At the end of the day, I believe all that really matters is what the finished art looks like. I know there are a number successful of artists that make use of projectors but that alone won't ensure that the finished painting is great art. Some purists believe that working from photos at all is "cheating". I would say don't worry about what anyone else is doing or says... just do what feels right for you😊👍
I put a price tag on each piece but I put it on the side of the painting and tell them thats where the price is.. so if they look at the side, I know they are at least interested in the paintind 😊
