As a junior in high school, this really encourages me and allows me to see that I'm on the right path as the Lord has been guiding me to do so. He's preparing me for the future at this young age. Praise the Lord!

The first minute really hit me.. I've had so much free time in my life and would fill it up with things that aren't pleasing to God (pornography, gambling etc.) I just recently lost my very good mining job, lost my rental (because I can't afford my rent payments) which lead me to moving to an entirely different city for family support. I'm currently sleeping on an air mattress in my moms Livingroom - I'm a 31 year old male. Since moving to this new city, I felt called by the lord and immediately joined a church. I was connected and started serving right away, filling up all this free time by attending young adult groups and mens groups during the week because I literally have nothing but free time in my life. I'd be lying if I didn't say that this is the most happiness, freedom and spiritual clarity that I've felt in my entire life. I've been free from Pornography, alcohol and gambling for a month now. I just wanted to share as an encouragement to any of my brothers and sisters who are or have been going through season after season of difficulty, addiction or uncertainty.

I was so excited to buy a home... but when I bought it I became ALONE. Once I was alone... it's very hard to stay on track.. because I could do whatever I wanted... it's been like this for 3 years now.. but with God's help it is changing now. Thank you for the video.

As a freshman in highschool, i can say dat everything that he stated in this video resonates with me. I feel like a lot of people my age get too comfortable with having what they so call “fun”. I hear a lot of teenagers around my age saying that they want this they want that, but when it comes to them actually putting time and effort, they are not up for it at all😂. I’ve recently cut off tiktok and Instagram because I realized that it was taking up most of my time throughout my day and was keeping me from fulfilling the plans that god had for me. Now i can say ever since i have done dat, my relationship with god was been the strongest its ever been. People really need to get out they comfort zone and start developing discipline

I’ve been finding myself with a lot more free time recently so this video was perfect. The part that stuck out to me was the beginning about why we become undisciplined and what true freedom is and isn’t. I beleive I’m a very disciplined individual as a collegiate athlete but I still find myself using dating apps or watching movies, instead of reading my Bible.

Marriage is good! No doubt…I’m not to sure about marriage being the answer to lust. If lust isn’t targeted through prayer and repentance and you jump into marriage your lust will not cease to exist in your marriage.

I know this might be a random comment but Idk man for some days i was wrestling against myself. I dont spent a lot of time watching these type of videos cause all of them are kinda the same but idk dude ur video kinda made me stay till the end and i just happened to watch it on top of my feed. Im a college graduate and i right now searching for jobs do have a lot of time in my hand and this video opened up my eyes

One thing I'd like to add is that when it comes to exercise, I partake in it about 5x a week. Keeping a clean diet and avoiding unhealthy food is the most difficult part though. I personally think that sticking to healthy/whole foods throughout the week is a form of fasting (not necessarily the same) in the sense that you are fighting your flesh and desire to cheat on your diet. If you know you are doing it to please God it becomes much easier. God Bless

Ngl this video randomly popped up in my feed and the only reason I clicked on it was because he was holding the same type of bible I have. Now I know some other people may say the same thing, but this video addresses nearly all the struggles I am currently facing. This just goes to show that Jesus wants us all to be saved and we must persevere in this last hour as the book of Revelation is unfolding in our eyes to signal that the return of christ is very near and any day know we're going to hear news of millions of people disappearing and "Aliens" are the cause. Hey Alex, not gonna lie I just clicked on this video for research for my own videos, as you are one of the creators I look up to as you don't do rage-baiting reactionary content like most Christian youtubers. But I just got married a couple months ago and...this couldn't have been more timely. I've been putting in hours in my channel, in uber, and in my side business just to make ends meet. Only question I have though, do you think I should have a kid? I'm only two months into marriage, my wife can't work for reasons I will not share here, and I would struggle to even pay for our health insurance. What do you think? God provided for marriage when I didn't think it was possible, so I have no reason to doubt parenthood too, either way keep it up man. Many look up to you not because of you, but because of God working in you and your beautiful family.

I want to challenge that if youre struggling with lust, marriage may not be an instant fix. Lust can still exist within marriage. The greed and selfishness of lust may lead you to still find pleasure online even when youre wife or husband is sleeping right beside you.

The only thing I find people try and find a way out from lust is through marriage. Some think that marriage will ensure your lust will go away. It does not! If your partner for whatever reason is not available for sex, the lust that you have not dealt with remains. Marriage is great when God has shown you that is your partner and it helps with the temptation of falling into sin. But ensure you deal with the root problem of lust and sin first.

If you suffer from Lust, marriage is not the solution. Sin is only overcome through Christ in us, and not by a wife or anything other in life. If you want to have a Christ centered and blessed relationship with the partner god has chosen for you, you should wait with marriage until Jesus freed you of masturbating etc. Like any other sin, Lust will always try to reenter your Life after overcoming it, but then you already got the strength through Christ to overcome temptation. Temptation will always come, but you should already know how to control yourself and not give into temptation before marriage. If you enter marriage struggling with Lust, it will have very serious consequences in your relationship.

Not at all trying to argue, but I am genuinely curious. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭27‬ says, “Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.” While there are many verses that call a wife a good thing, this verse makes it clear that we are not to seek a wife. It seems to me that we are to trust God’s timing in bringing us and our spouse together and not seek them (supported by many people who say that they found their spouse when they stopped seeking/when they least expect it), but after He brings us together and we are married, it is a very good thing. Thoughts?
